Hampton Inn and Suites

Awesome experience! All the staff was super friendly. They overdid themselves with their service. They were beyond great. All my needs were met and my expectations as well. I am super satisfied my stay was wonderful the bed was really comfortable and the suite was really nice. I highly recommend it.

Nice and clean. The staff was friendly. They kept all the areas clean. The workout room was clean and didn’t smell like a sweaty gym. Their free breakfast is in dire need of improvement! Ugh… processed food city. Yuck!

Super awesome hotel! It is very clean, and large room. It close to freeway, but no noise. Staffs are very nice! Breakfast is included!

I liked this hotel a lot nice staff our room was really a very good size for three adults my favorite thing was it had two sinks one at the bar and one outside the bathroom so getting ready for the wedding we were going to went a lot smoother. Folsom is a cute town and this was close to so many restaurants.

Stayed there on the way to lake tahoe. It was clean and good service. Complimentary breakfast was good too.

Clean room, great prices and friendly service… Top that off with a Free breakfast and your here at the Hampton. Definitely a great place to stay!

I just spent a week at the Hampton Inn and I had such a great experience! The beds, the sheets, pillows, breakfast, wifi and customer service were all on point. I highly recommend this hotel.

Pretty good and VERY bad…
The hotel is fairly nice, the staff is friendly but could def be a bit more organised and you can’t beat the location. The source of concern is the expansive car park located between the hotel, Placerville Road and the In-​n-​Out Burger. SERIOUSLY sketchy behavior occurs in that lot day and night. In 2 days, I have so far witnessed a dude getting oral in broad daylight, a man with a syringe in his arm as I took my morning stroll at 7 AM and a couple snorting something off a CD case yesterday evening. This is just me coming and going; I’m not camping out looking for drama. Wouldn’t stay here con mis niños and am left to wonder — where the F^^k is Folsom PD?

I have been coming to Hampton Inn since it opened. I come about two to six times a year and I have always been impressed by the service, cleanliness and hospitality of this hotel. NO LONGER. I think the management must have changed or they just are starting to lower their standards.
I arrived this weekend and the night staff are rude, apathetic and lazy. This is the hospitality industry and you would think they would go that extra mile to ensure their customers felt safe and comfortable. Not anymore. When I arrived to the hotel after 4pm (check in is at 3pm), I was told they don’t have any rooms available. I told the front desk lady that I had called at 2:15 and was told the room would be available at 3pm. SO here I was, over an hour after check in and I was lied to. When I questioned her due to my earlier call and me being able to name the employee I had spoke to, they suddenly had rooms available! So why the fight? I was checking in after the check in time to begin with! Then, I checked into my room and it was dirty and it stunk of perfume. My son picked up deodorant and other personal hygiene items from under the bed, the room reeked of perfume, so I called the front desk and asked them if they just steamed cleaned the carpets and they said no and that was the end of their input. So my company arrived and they had to leave because the smell was so bad and my kids are asthmatic, so we opened the window to air the room out while we left for awhile.
We came back later and the smell was still there. The front desk lady said she smelled it and it smelled the same as all other rooms. I reminded her that I have stayed there plenty of times and it never smelled like that and I asked it the management had changed because they used to be more friendly and the cleaning process was different and sprays were never used where it overpowered the room and she said no. Okay. So I asked to change rooms and she brought up a key and sure enough, the next room was like the rooms I had before-​clean and smelled unremarkable. Perfect.
The problem was, the staff is consistently rude and I had to push to change rooms. They invalidated all of my concerns and were hostile. I cannot express how disappointing their behavior was. I never had this problem before.
For the price I paid, I highly suggest staying at any hotel other than Hampton Inn. They made me feel very uncomfortable and the room sprays they use are bad for anyone with health concerns.

First, the good stuff. You can’t beat the location of this hotel in Folsom, Ca. Close to shopping, services and food and restaurants. Staff is pleasant, check in process is efficient. Beds are so comfortable. Lots of parking.
Now, the downside to staying here. My opinion of this hotel has declined unfortunately. If you can avoid staying on the 1 – 3 floors, do it. Stay on the 4^th, top floor. Otherwise, you will hear footsteps above you all night long. Folsom hotels are sprouting up so fast. The structures are thin. I was awake much of last night due to heavy walking on floors above me, banging on walls all around me all night and early. High floor won’t keep wall banging away, but at least you won’t hear anyone above you. Another note of caution, these days the weather there is hot (100+ degrees is not uncommon). There are very few trees in the spacious parking lot, so your car will get hot. I was also in a room that had a crummy shower head. Oh well, not the worst thing in the world.
If you aren’t bugged by noise people around you make or the other stuff I mentioned, then stay here. I’ll be looking for a different hotel next time I’m in town.

Great views from the room. Happy hour and appetizers. Clean, spacious rooms and comfortable beds. This is definitely one of the «better» Hampton Inns I’ve stayed at and they were cheaper than their nearby competitors. You will not regret staying here.

I actually go out of my way to stay here 6 – 8 times per year. One of my favorite Hilton properties in the entire country, and for good reason. Clean and modern rooms, phenomenal staff, good location right off the freeway, and if you throw a tennis ball hard enough, you’ll hit an In-​N-​Out and a Starbucks.
The very nice lady who works the front desk most times I arrive (she wears a tie) goes above and beyond to make me feel like the only guest on the entire property.
I very much enjoy traveling to Rancho Cordova because it means I get to stay at one of the best Hampton Inns in the country.

Pleasant clean room, but Internet sucks and walls paper thin. Stayed here on business. Only had king bed suite available so paid $ 162/​night + tax. Clean room on top floor. First two nights were quiet as nobody in next room. Third night, person next to me woke me up in middle of night with snoring and coughing. Walls are unbelievably paper thin. Ran my internet test on laptop at home with Comcast, 57Mbps. Ran the same test in this hotel, 0.32Mbps. That’s dial up speed.
Very disappointing as a business stay hotel.

So for Folsom. this place is *IT*

Clean with a decent breakfast. Was an above average hotel I would say.
Pool is nice, have a decent workout area and staff was friendly.
Three stars as they sprayed some sort of deodorizer in the rooms which triggered my wife’s asthma on room entry. They brought up a fan which we ran all night in the room to air out. Never have run into this before in any hotel.
Otherwise would get 4 stars as this was the only issue we had and the hotel was otherwise pleasant.

I’ve stayed at this hotel once before, and if you’re in Folsom, I highly recommend making your reservations here.
Lots of parking, very clean, great breakfast and the rooms are large and well kept. You really couldn’t ask for more from a Hampton Inn, but then you get to the service.

During my stay they made me feel incredibly welcome.
I was suppose to stay here this weekend, and very unfortunately, due to a medical reason, I had to cancel last minute. The asst. manager, Pirt Patel was very understanding and extremely hospitable. I couldn’t be more appreciative.
This hotel is 5 STARS!

Great service. The staff is friendly and always making sure you’re satisfied with their service. There is a gym with all equipment necessary for a balanced workout, as well as a pool (though a bit on the cooler side, water could be warmer) with a jacuzzi.
They serve a free breakfast every morning and. although not vegan friendly, the roasted potatoes can be eaten by vegans/​vegetarians. They also have unlimited tea available. The brand they use is Bigalow. The Palladio is only but walking distance away (5 Minute walk) where you can find Whole Foods, H&M, the movie theaters, sushi and other dining and shopping areas.
I loved staying here. It was peaceful and everything is close by.

We’ve now stayed at Hampton Inns at two different locations. The service is very consistently high. Very nice accommodations, they have pool and fitness centers.
Breakfast is 4 hours long. DIY waffles, along with eggs and sausage on some days. Very good coffee.
The service level is very high.

As a business traveler, I typically stay at the Hilton Garden Inn but it was booked. The Hampton is brand new and LEED certified (go green)!
While the lobby isn’t as light and inviting as the Hilton, the rooms are nicer, more spacious and thoughtful! The gym is also twice the size with high quality equipment.
