I love it here! My go to stylist is Nicole Scott! She is the only person I trust to do my hair. I came in back in May 2013 and just needed a change. She took my from brunette to blonde! It looks amazing! She takes her time dealing with my long thick hair and making sure it’s perfect! I get so many compliments on my hair! She blends everything so nicely. Everyone in the salon has been really nice! You get great quality hair cuts, colors, and style for so cheap! It’s always been a pleasant experience whenever I am there.

I really don’t like going to a stylist to get my hair cut, I was desperate. It was Sunday and the usual barbershops I normally would go to were closed(I normally get my cuts during the week) and u don’t know they were closed on Sundays. Well anyways I gave this«Hair Cuttery» a shot. I tell you what; I was not disappointed at all. The stylist was nice and considerate about what I wanted. She took her time during my hair even though it was just a simple clip and shave. I would definitely recommend this spot to get your haircut or style. I give it 4 stars because I believe it the point in time of the day there should be some more stylus working in there especially of all the customers they had sitting and waiting. Other than that this is a great spot

I typically don’t go to a hair cuttery and if I do, it’s for a quick blow dry or style but never a serious cut because I’ve had such an iffy experience. I chose this one solely based on recommendations about Nicole Cassidy. I have jet black hair and I wanted something different, exciting yet subtle and professional. I waited for quite a bit but it was worth it. Nicole was very patient and answered all of my questions and made sure I was happy with my result. All in all, second day hair looks just as amazing and the auburn red color on tan(Indian) skin looks spectacular! Thanks, Nicole. I will drive 30 mins from jersey just for her

I never really like getting my hair cut. Forced to sit in a chair while an old geezer snipped away at your locks, feeling the pressure of keeping up your end of the conversation. Also having a touch of autism has me hating to be touched, especially by strangers. Therefore I was glad that I shacked up with a woman, who considered herself an amateur hair stylist. She did a decent job on my hair, I was always pleased by the results and more importantly, SHE was pleased by the results. So when that relationship soured, I found myself having not only lost a life partner but a great barber as well. I really didn’t know what to do. Besides being uncomfortable going to a stranger to cut my hair, I was also cheap. I went the cathartic route for awhile and shaved it bald. In a way, I kind of liked the badass quality of it but while I perceived myself as Walter White, I ended up looking like Curly from the 3 Stooges. It was time for a change. I’m still cheap so when a Hair Cuttery opened up in Folsom, I decided to give it a try. Although it took a few times to work up the courage to go in. You should have seen me, milling around the front until I talked myself out of it, week after week. Finally, with my hair beginning to look like something I called«Drunk Einstein» I went in. They were able to take me immediately and I was paired up with a stunningly pretty, funky black woman named Syrita. I say funky because she had a blonde Mohawk that gave her a Jada Pinkett Smith vibe. I wanted to do something different with my hair but not outrageous and Syrita pretty much nailed it. I am currently pleased by how it turned out and how it has grown in as well. Syrita wasn’t very talkative but that was fine with me. I’m more than willing to talk but if silence is called for in even more pleased. I’m still cheap. I’ll probably wait until I’m Mountain Man again before I go back. Maybe I can keep it to 3 sessions a year. But when I do I’ll ask for Syrita because I think she did a fine job. So now with the position of stylist filled I’m still on the lookout for volunteers to fill out some of the exes other duties. Anyone good at sewing up underwear?
