Doubletree Pet Resort provides a loving and caring home-​away-​from-​home to our doggy guests.

Doubletree Pet Resort is a clean and stress-​free home environment where dogs can play, chase and smell all the good things found in the wooded fully enclosed rear yard or just lay in the shade.

Many of our guest owners have stated that they wished they could check into at Doubletree Pet Resort for a get-​away.

Bill and Kimala Berdan have both been life-​long K9 enthusiasts which included 14 yrs. of being foster parents for the San Francisco Samoyed Rescue rescuing Samoyeds from various situations, caring, re-​entering the rescued pups into a stable environment, evaluating and eventual placement into loving, responsible homes. Kimala also served on the SFSR Board of Directors for several years.

Both Bill and Kimala are certified in Canine CPR and First Aid.

We LOVED leaving our pet with Doubletree Pet Resort. We received such a warm welcome from the owners and our dog was comfortable at home the moment we walked in. There were lots of fun nooks and crannies to explore and a large open outdoor space with plenty to do. Her inside space was open, warm and comfy. The owners were so kind, I knew our dog was in great hands. I would use them again and again. If there was a 6th star rating, I would’ve clicked it.

This is by far the BEST place we have EVER taken our dog. I simply can not say enough great things about Bill & Kimala. They treated us like great, long time friends from the moment we met them. It’s obvious that they truly LOVE dogs and they will treat your dog like it’s their own. They live on a quiet dead end street and have a wonderful, secure, large back yard where the dogs can run around and play. They also have a very clean, spacious home with plenty of places for dogs to nap and relax. We were also pleasantly surprised to receive an email with photos and an update while we were away. They really go above and beyond! Our dog had a WONDERFUL time and we will for sure be taking him back.

I just love DoubleTree Pet Resort. I found them from the KCRA A-​list contest and I haven’t looked back. We have had our little shy girl named Calli make multiple visits to see Kimala, Bill and Mishka. Callie gets so excited when we start to drive through the neighborhood about visiting the resort. They place give your loved one a fabulous and pampered 5 stars experience. Its so nice to follow your pet on facebook while you are away to know that they are just having a great time. Thanks for such a friendly and personalble home away from home.

Kimala and Mishka are both such sweethearts! Very friendly and accommodating. The house is absolutely beautiful; by far the nicest place I’ve boarded a dog! It’s like a retreat for dogs. The backyard is amazing. I highly recommend!

Doubletree Pet Resort is fantastic! My husband and I were looking for a place to board our dog while we were away for a few days, and were not fond of using kennels. We are so lucky we stumbled upon Doubletree Pet Resort. During our meet and greet, Bill and Kimala welcomed us into their home like we were long lost friends, and we immediately felt comfortable enough to leave our dog there. As it was our first time away from our dog we were a little anxious as to how she would do, but Kimala kept us up to date by sending pictures and emails of our dogs stay. Not only was it comforting to know she was in good hands, but great to see her having so much fun playing with Bill and Kimala, and all the other pups at the resort! We can’t wait to take our dog back, we will absolutely be using them again. We would highly recommend Doubletree Pet Resort to anyone!

5-​star reviews are usually overstated. After all, according to Unilocal,it means «Woohoo! As good as it gets!», (i.e., no room for improvement).
In the case of Doubletree Pet Resort, I would give 6 stars and not feel gulity of being hyperbolic. Bill and Kimala are some of the nicest people you will ever meet, and they genuinely care about animals. We felt like our little dog was being looked after by a trusted family member, except there’s no one in my family that would provide the love, affection and attention that he got with them.
In my life, I have had several dogs and many experiences with boarding them. This was without a doubt, the best experience ever, and I know that our dog would tell you the same if he could!
On our return, he was happy to see us, but showed none of the eager-​to-​leave attitude that he has displayed when we have picked him up from one of those fancy Pet Hotels.
