History

Established in 1982.

Helen Henry started Henry’s Catering as a small lunch wagon and slowly the business bloomed as she took on small-​event catering, preparing the food in her home kitchen. When Helen wanted to retire, Sharon, her daughter-​in-​law, took over, and built a commercial kitchen to accommodate the growing business. In 1982, Henry’s Banquet Center was added with seating for 300. In 2000, the Banquet Center expanded to a 500-​person capacity.

For over 25 years, owner Sharon Henry has carved a niche in the catering business in Central Minnesota. Learning the business from the ground up, Sharon helped out Helen Henry of Henry’s Auction Services when she was just 16, working the lunch wagon. Sharon then took over as owner when Helen retired. Sharon continues to run Henry’s Catering from the business and creative side and lives by the motto, «life is a journey, let’s make it delicious».
