I suspect this place is a total rip off. Avoid this place like the plague. Too bad Unilocal doesn’t allow me to give zero stars because that’s what they deserve. There are plenty of other pharmacies in the Flushing area one can go to so do yourself a favor. First of all they over charge on prescription medicine. My mom went there to pick up her medicine and they told her the co-pmt is $ 50. She inquired why it was that much when it has always been just $ 10. They gave her a trumped up story about how«the gov’t increased the price». Yeah, right. She went to Duane Reade with the same prescription script and they charged her $ 10. Like I said, AVOID this place. On another occasion my mom went there to pick up her medicine(she was desperate because the other pharmacies in the area were out of supply and this pharmacy was the only one who had her medicine). She gave the cashier $ 10. The cashier took time getting the medicine and when she finally brought it to the counter she told my mom again to pay $ 10. My mom insisted that she already gave her $ 10. She told my mom that she did not. Which is a BALD-FACEDLIE. My mom was desperate to get her medicine so she didn’t argue and just paid the extra $ 10. This place is horrible.

There a few times where I am so disappointed in a business that I must write a review stating my dissatisfaction. I went to this business with a mild cough and asked the person at the counter for a recommendation on medicine. She showed me some Korean brand medicine in a box with all Korean charcters on it. She said it would make me better and told me to buy two of them. I trusted them and went ahead and bought it. However, upon finishing both boxes, my throat was not feeling any better and, on top of that, the medicine made me extra drowsy(this info would have been good to know before hand). I went back to the pharmacy and asked for something else. She insisted that I buy more of the same medicine, but this time having them with 2 advils. That’s when I couldnt take it anymore. It seems like she is more interested in selling the Korean pills, which are not FDA approved. I talked to another Korean pharmacist and showed her box. She said the medicine that I bought is worth 2 dollars retail in Korea. She was selling it to me for 10 dollars a box. No wonder why she pushed me hard to make the sell and give her 500 percent profit. Avoid this place. There are plenty of other pharmacies in the neighborhood. Theyre interested in taking your money rather than helping you. Theyre selling non USFDA approved medicine.
