Time Flies Bbq & Bar

Came here many times already, they have very good seafood in the bag. Especially their house special sauce. Bbq was okay, we always order squid, 2 for 6 dollar. Oyster was very small, not worth it.

Came in on Christmas night, very nice environment. They have a bar and karaōke room you can reserve for party. Their seafood are similar to the Boil, taste really good. They also have some options of BBQ and other cuisine dishes. But their cocktail need to improve.

I really want to love this place. However, their manager definitely need pay attention on their staff. I went there with my friend around 5:30pm. A little early for dinner but it should be fine. First, my server disappear since they served our food. We had to walk to the bar to ask server for water refill, another pair of gloves and our check. And first time my friend went to ask for water refill and told me all waiters were on their phone. I did not believed it. Until I had to walk to the bar to ask for check, every singe waiter was on their phone. And I need to remind them once more just for the check. I should just walk out the door with my friend and do not pay our bill. They seem like they do not care about whether we pay or not. So where is the manager? He was seating with a table of people next to us and chatting. He knew we were mad about the service and he never care because I complained to my friend in Chinese and he was speaking Chinese with these people. He definitely heard it.
Let’s talk about the food. We ordered two lobsters with garlic and butter, bbq chicken and lamb skewer and chicken wings. They put huge amount of garlic which make me think if they try to cover that their lobster was not fresh. Chicken and lamb skewers and chicken wings were ok but nothing special and I won’t come back for it.

This is a great place for friends to gather, hang out, and have a few drinks. Open for dinner only. The atmosphere is very relaxing and has a full bar with a huge cocktail selection and varieties of draft beer. Food is a mixture of Chinese northeastern dishes and cajun seafood boil, so be prepared to get your hands dirty during the meal. The best dish that I highly recommend is: Roast whole fish. The fish is wrapped in aluminum foil and set on fire when served at the table. Cool presentation, right? Once you open up the aluminum foil and start tasting the fish, you’ll completely forget about the presentation of this dish, because it’s just so delicious!!! The fish is cooked perfectly, and there are plenty of vegetable such as potato, mushroom, lotus root soaked in hot chili oil. The fish fully absorbed the flavor of the chili spices so it’s not too bland, nor is it too greasy. Another great dish is: Spicy crab, the crab is deep fried and then stir fried, so even the shell of the crab is crunchy and flavorful.
Another great thing about this restaurant is that they have two private karaōke rooms in the back and if you have a large enough group, you can ask to book those rooms for dinner + karaōke at the same time, which is very convenient. There’s a small stage at the entrance of the restaurant, performances are offered on weekends.

After a few months, I came here because of some friends. Although everything still looks the same, the whole atmosphere of this place is different & they finally have their bbq! Along with all the seafood still. This is great for seafood lovers or meat lovers. There are so many different dishes you can order, to full asian dishes.
This restaurant basically has all the major type of food. Bbq, seafood, chinese food. The ktv in the back is also a great room to invite friends over and eat and sing and drink. Coming here for dinner, you don’t need to go anywhere else after. Can continue to keep drinking and playing games. It’s rly a «kill 2 birds with 1 stone» type of place. Convenient parking lot next door as well.
Also, some of their dishes are quite different than what you expect of something from flushing. They have langoustine skewered in a garlic butter sauce. Fish wrapped in aluminum foil and set afire –which just looks cool by the way.
This place has definitely fused into their new name and it’s perfect. Décor could use a lot of work though.

Food quality is just ok. For the money I paid I definitely expect more from them. nothing is really surprising good. We had Cajun style Crawfish, clam and squid. Crawfish may be kept in frozen. Lamb skewers or kebabs are way too salty. The venting system was not working properly and you can literally see the smell in the lobby.
