Description

Specialties

Over the years, The Oneness-Fountain-Heart has become known for their international dishes. Featuring a wide range of veggie-meats, such as duck, lamb, chicken, ham, veggie-shrimp and cod-fish, we use the freshest ingredients, pure vegetable oils, ghee, and use organic when possible. We also have a large selection of vegan options.

Make sure to leave some room for our desserts! Our tiramisu has been praised again and again by our Italian friends, and the recipe actually comes from the Sicilian grandmother of one of our cooks. Our vegan desserts — berry dream, coconut-passion fruit chiffon pie, and vegan chocolate cake — are also very popular.

We serve a wide-ranging selection of drinks including homemade smoothies, vitamin blast, coconut water, kombucha, and nearly 20 different kinds of tea. We are continually researching, trialing and discovering new high quality, nourishing beverages that soothe the mind and delight the palate.

History

Established in 1998.

The Oneness-Fountain-Heart was established 15 years ago and is dedicated to conscious living and healthy eating. Striving to create a global cuisine, the restaurant is independently owned and operated by students of Sri Chinmoy. Our meditation teacher is the inspiration and guiding force behind our efforts to create a peaceful oasis where you can enjoy food that nourishes the body, heart, and soul.

Meet the Business Owner

Shashanka K.

Business Owner

Food and nutrition have always played an important role in Shashanka’s life. He has been a vegetarian for 30 years and has had a strong professional connection with food during that time. Shashanka loves cooking because it is a way for him to express himself. He believes that a cook’s attitude and feelings directly influence the food and this can be felt by the guest. If one cooks with peaceful feelings, this can instill a peaceful feeling in the customer. In this sense, a cook can be a peacemaker. Shashanka’s main motto at the Oneness-Fountain-Heart is, «Love and Serve.» We try to give our customers a good overall experience from the food to service and the prevailing peaceful atmosphere.
