The dentist is very nice guy, he tried to make you relax at his office by telling you some jokes, showing you TV shows while you are waiting for him. If you made reservation, they won’t let you wait more than 10 minutes. The office is very clean and the equipment is like the newest. The new chair is so comfortable! In terms of fee, they always do the estimate before doing any thing, so you don’t have to worry it’s too much and your insurance can’t cover.

Dr. Jung is one in a million of in the world of dentistry. He provides excellent care, with his gentle mood and expertise. Amazing staff all around that serve with professionalism and compassion. I have been coming to him since I was 10 years old (11+ years) for all of my dental needs: from my yearly cleanings, to filling in my cavities, and extracting my two wisdom teeth. Super plus for me that he speaks English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

Dr. Jung’s office provides the highest quality of patient care. The office and equipment is updated and clean, and the doctors are all well experienced. I’ve had various types of dental work done here and no complaints. Highly recommended if you are looking for a dentist! Like other reviewers said, it is best to book an appointment here as it can get busy, which is just an attestment of the good work done here.

I went there for tooth re-​filling on Monday afternoon. There were 2 patients waiting when I arrived, and the office was very clean. Due to some sudden issues I waited for like… 1h30m before asked to see dr. Jung, which is the only unsatisfying factor, but the receptionist gave us some gifts (a toothbrush, toothpaste and floss picks) for abnormally long waiting. Dr. Jung was very gentle, experienced and humorous. During the cure he kept asking if I felt fine and his assistant was also very nice, which really helped me feel relieved. And they also charged a fair price and gave caring advice. The stuff can speak English, Mandarin and Cantonese so don’t worry about if you have such worries.

I have been with dr Jung for 8+ years, not only is him and his associates dr Chan knowledgeable, but also friendly, caring and accommodating.
Clean office and modern set up is a plus.
Highly skilled is what I visit them for.

I come 45 min from Long Island to see Dr. Jung. He is by far the best and most educated dentist I have ever been too. He is kind, gentle and I never leave there with any pain. I love going to the dentist now. His cleanings are hands down the best cleanings I have ever gotten in my whole entire life. I wouldn’t trust anyone else, and if you want the best dentist in NYC take the trip to see him and his staff. I promise you won’t be disappointed! Thank you !!!

Today is my first visit for the wisdom tooth pain. One word, impressive. The whole clinic is very clean, bright, organized, modern and comfortable. I got a very professional dental treatment. They will give you the best advices. Both Dr. Jung and Dr. Chan are very nice and patient. You can make payment in multiple methods and get a small gift bag including tooth brush, tooth paste and floss.
This visit indeed kill my fear to see a dentist. Highly recommend Samuel T Jung, DDS., PC.
Tips: Recommend first visit to get a teeth cleaning. Just pay $ 15 added to $ 50 consulting fee, the normal charge is $ 65.

Samuel T Jung’s practice is highly recommended, and Dr. Chau S Chan is fantastic!
It’s been about 3 years since I last saw a dentist (translates to ⁵⁄₆ years). Dr. Chan and the practice she’s associated with exceeded my expectations in following ways…
1) Office look and feel: the office look was airy and modern and you feel comfortable walking up to the receptionist. Great flat screen panel TV and wonderful to see Food Network Channel on. Comfortable seating and office is very clean. Practice is equipped with latest and modern dentist tools and equipment.
2) Friendly and Courteous: the staff at this practice was superb, they were friendly and courteous from receptionist to technician/​support staff. The staff at this practice are fluent in both English and Chinese.
3) Saved best for last, Dr. Chan: Teeth cleaning has always been a struggling point for me, grant it, not as bad as root canal and some other procedures but it’s up there.
Professionalism: It was absolutely refreshing to have a dentist who talks to me during the procedure and let’s me know when I might feel a little sensitive during the cleaning. It’s very telling in that if she does this during a simple procedure such as teeth cleaning, I know I can expect the same during more advanced procedure. In short, she has excellent «bed side manner» as a dentist, she is very approachable, and I really felt that she was listening to what I’m saying with various symptoms I was describing.
Skills: Dr. Chan is gentle and precise during the teeth cleaning procedure. I felt very little pain and cleaning was very quick. I walked away feeling confident that my teeth was thoroughly cleaned and looking much better than when I arrived. I’ve made a follow-​up to get some additional procedures done without hesitation. I would highly recommend Dr. Chan if you are looking for a new dentist.

People who read my reviews know that I don’t give 5 stars all that much. So that’s saying loads when I give Dr. Jung 5 stars.
He is the most skilled dental surgeon EVER. I can honestly say that I was not at all scared to get my wisdom teeth pulled out after the first one he pulled. In 2 seconds flat, I was done… no pain, no pressure, NOTHING. If I didn’t see the tooth lying on the stainless steel tray, I might’ve thought he had been pulling my leg.
He is good and fast (two qualities that need to go hand in hand when it comes to a dentist). I use insurance so I pay close to nothing out of pocket… but I have heard that he can be pricey if you are paying out of pocket. But it’s worth it!!! You only get one set of teeth, ya know!
