My office specializes in problems and deformities of the foot and ankle. It encompasses anything and everything from treating fungal toenails, athlete’s foot, ingrown nails & warts to bunions & hammertoes, foot & ankle injuries/​sprains/​fractures, and reconstructive surgery of the foot, rearfoot, and soft tissue of the ankle.

Dr. Rahul Patel, DPM is a podiatrist/​foot and ankle surgeon with offices in Flushing, Queens and Gramercy Park, Manhattan, NYC. His training is in foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot & ankle surgery.

Dr. Patel graduated from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine (NYCPM) in 2001 with a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (D.P.M.) degree. He began a comprehensive Podiatric Medicine and Surgery residency program at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip, New York, finishing four years later as chief resident in July 2005 and earning Resident of The Year honors amongst a multitude of hospitals.

Dr. Patel has also lectured at various hospitals and in 2001, he provided abstracts for the Compendium of Foot and Ankle Surgery.

Dr. Patel graduated from New York University in 1996 concentrating in Biochemistry. He was a part-​time teaching assistant in Calculus, Organic Chemistry, and Physics. His passion includes watching and playing sports and he’s also an avid film watcher.
