Lame. The chicken was good, as always, but the people who put together our takeout order forgot our 4 biscuits, that was included. Poor quality of service behind the counter. These things should not happen and I will be going back just so I can demand my forgotten biscuits(however funny that sounds). Also, the fries that are usually good, SUCKED! They tasted like cardboard. I tried to call their number and the # is not even in service! Whaaaat?! The receipt also has no store # to report. LOL. Beware people! Look at your bag before leaving the store to make sure they give you everything you ordered.

This is my fave fast food fried chicken. The chicken is always juicy, crispy and full of flavor. The sides here are yummy as well. They offer a wide range of sides such as mashed potatoes w/Cajun gravy, red beans and rice, Cajun rice, Cajun fries, and more! Also, there are always deals posted on the windows! Please note that sometimes there is a slightly long wait to get your food, but I guess that’s the trade off for fresh chicken.

Parking available in the back. Location has Popeyes and Burger King under the same roof. Realtively clean and friendly staff, but they always run out of items and seems to be 30 minutes until the next batch is ready. There was one visit I asked for thighs and wings to go but they only gave me wings. My last visit, they didn’t have mac n cheese or mashed potatoes, or fries and ran out of spicy. Manager realized that I had a large party and needed things quickly to-go but there was a long wait. He gave me a free soda while I waited. That was a good gesture and handled correctly. Let’s be real though, this is Popeyes and close to my home. I’ll always be back as long as the chicken is good and my guests wants fast food.

I’ve been trying to stay away from fast food lately so I haven’t been to this BK/Popeye’s location in a while. They have made major upgrades, new tables, new soda machine, new décor. It looks nice for a fast food joint. My son wanted BK and was in and out in under 3 minutes. That’s FAST food. Went to Popeye’s, ordered. Fifteen minutes later I’m still there waiting. Now they are calling #‘s of people who came in after me so I’m like«what’s going on where is my food?» I’m told that it takes extra long because I ordered corn on the cob so I say fine«I’ll take something else then because I don’t want to wait.» They tell me «it’s ready now». Nope it wasn’t, I waited another five minutes. Finally got my food and head to the car. Look in the bag, no mac and cheese. Had to go back again. One person checks my receipt and says«ok wait a minute.» Another person comes check’s the receipt and asks whats wrong. I explain the situation again a second time and now they are working on getting it for me which took another five minutes because they were in the middle of preparing other orders. They weren’t really friendly or apologetic about the mix up either. The chicken was okay. I still prefer theirs to KFC’s. The shrimp was the same as I remember small and crispy. The corn on the cob was good but probably not worth the excessive wait. The mac and cheese was worse than the boxed kind, not cheesy at all. Vanilla coke in the machines, great selection of drinks YAY! No one really seemed in a hurry to do anything, they were really blazay about preparing the food. There was no hustle to their workflow at all even though there were many people waiting. The food was edible and did the job but the whole point of coming here was because I was short on time and it took much longer than anticipated. Guess I’ll go back to staying away. I do like the improvements they made to the restaurant though, so I guess that and the good drink selection is worth a few stars.

One of the cleaner bk/popeyes you’ll go to. Everything here is nice and updated except I wish they had a drive through given the size of the location.

Have always loved Popeyes, unfortunately we may have gotten a bad batch… employees may not have washed carefully! Entire family had belly aches, a friend came over and had some… also got a belly ache, like clock work! Wash those hands kids!

This is your typical Popeye’s restaurant. It has a burger king built into the same restaurant. They’re quick and there’s plenty of parking in the back.

It was just not good! I ordered three pieces, SPICY, but when I got my dish, those clearly looked MILD. So I asked if those are spicy and an employee said yes. I took a bite and I immediately realized that it was mild. Not only that piece but all three of them! I couldnt eat anymore and was bit upset, so I brought my meal and asked an employee, «does this look spicy to you?» and that employee changed my meal to spicy one. Even that one made me upset cuz 1. All of them were not warm and too thick without any juiciness 2. One of them were once again, mild. C’mon, Popeye’s! Distinguishing between spicy and mild should not that difficult! I go to the one at walker st and Lafayette ave in downtown Manhattan/Chinatown, and that place provides warm, juicy, and perfect spicy chicken! If you dont have spicy, just ask to wait a certain time so that customers will either comply and wait OR order a different items! Surely that would be much better than getting a wrong order and be angry! I would not visit here again, at least for a while, as I feel like I wasted my money today…

This Popeyes May be new but when ever asked for spicy chicken tenders cashier said they don’t have. One of the friers in the back said they did have, so I was lied to! Went again the following week was told they ran out. To me this place doesn’t care to please the customer but to just get out of working.

This Popeye’s has recently gone through a major renovation. The interior is much nicer now, updated and modern. The space is shared with Burger King and the entire place is always clean. The Popeye’s staff is courteous and friendly. The manager(I think he’s the manager … he’s relatively young and is Indian or Middle Eastern) is very professional. If there is an issue, he immediately fixes it and often offers something extra for your inconvenience. The food itself is standard Popeye’s fare, but at this location the food never sits around and is always fresh and tasty.

Around 3:00 P.M. yesterday I was looking for something to eat. I saw this Popeyes and decided to step in. I ordered the 2 piece meal with biscuit one side and medium drink. I oredered teh red beans and riceas my side. I was asked if I wanted original or hot and spicy. I chose hot and spicy. With my order I was given 3 packets of hot sauce which I first thought was ketchup. My order took less than 5 minutes to complete. The beans tasted like some sort of smoked pork product was used. The chicken was crispy, moist, juicy with a flavorful crust. The biscuit was buttery and flaky. I had both white and dark meat as I was given one thigh and one breast, which was a nice surprise.

I actually enjoy my chicken from here unlike many of the Popeyes places I have been to before. In my neighborhood, my Popeyes is filled with homeless or almost homeless people sitting around and outside of the store its the same thing. This is a much better store and the food quality is great also. All Popeyes chicken should taste good and the same like McDonald’s. but the chicken is hard to cook all the same I guess.

Oh Popeye, how I love thee! From the breast and thighs, and those righteous Cajun fries! Did I mention they make amazing fried chicken too? I love Popeye’s chicken, the feel of the chicken crunching down in your mouth, Lord! have mercy! Can I get a AMEN!!! This location is not the cleanest, there is ample parking and seating in this location. Now go out there and witness the love and taste of this fried masterpiece!

Clean and takes requests(usually)! I often ask for all dark meat, and as long as there is enough dark meat, they usually give it to me. Thank you for your prompt and accurate service!

Wicked Garlic Chicken is hte shit. Seriously, just get it. $ 3.99 for the food alone, $ 5.99 for the combo. It’s fried well, not quite golden as it looks on t.v. or the menu, but its fried well enough. The coating is crispy and flaky, but hte chicken inside is juicy, tender and piping hot. Just absolutely delicious. Did I mention it comes with an Arietty sized bottle of tabasco sauce?

What can I say? I never had Popeyes before. I do think, however, this is the best fast food chicken there is out there. you can choose from Spicy to Mild and the Spicy was not overwhelming in the least. Glad I ordered that. It was the perfect amount of flavor and very juicy. The Shrimp Tackle Box is what I really came for. I was very surprised as it was 8 decent sized crispy fried shrimps, a side order of rice and beans(which were awesome!) and a buttered biscuit all for 5 bucks. A pretty good deal I think. I was not impressed with the new chicken rippers they had for 6 bucks with a side and biscuit. The chicken was great but it was incredibly small. I thought it was a joke or something. All in all besides the soda fountain exploding on me as i poured my drink, I was happy with this place. A really nice place for fast food and chicken. I recommend.

Clean, large location with ample seating — check! Large parking lot in the back — check! Friendly and somewhat competent service — check! Ultra crispy, fresh fried chicken that actually looks like chicken — check! Popeyes, you have the makings of a pleasant fast food experience. Unfortunately, despite how fresh and crispy your birds are, the«spicy option» tasted like cardboard with a slight kick. Mainly it was bland, unexciting, and a sheer disappointment. This is probably why the dingy, pathetic KFC a few blocks over is still in business. Popeyes, you need to step up your game!
