NY Family Pharmacy

I’ve been coming to this pharmacy for many year. The staffs are really nice and helpful.

My father is elderly and has been getting confused. This Pharmacy has been very patient with him, going the extra mile to help out in a tough situation.
I have to deal with them by phone because I don’t live near Flushing, they’ve been very flexible in order to meet my father’s needs.

I came here to fill a prescription following a trip to get a diagnosis on my bad cough (respiratory infection). There were about 5 – 7 people getting their orders filled as well and a flurry of young Korean girls busily trying to serve each customer. Although it seemed that most of their customers were Korean, their English was fluent and it seemed that maybe little less than half their customers were non-​Korean.
What took the cake was that the head pharmacist called my doctor to have her suggest a lower cost alternative to the medicine that was originally prescribed. The original prescription would have put me down with a $ 85 co-​pay while a simple phone call reduced that to $ 15. I bought some Memory Foam Dr. Scholl’s soles ($ 12), Robitussin DM ($ 3.79) and some Vaseline Lip Therapy ($ 0.99).
Efficient, cost-​effective, and centrally located. They don’t seem to be the friendliest people but I mean when all you’re trying to do is get some medicine quick and easy, this place does the job well.
