This is pretty impressive. Although the seating area is sparsely decorated, there are so many delicious options! I came here for the mango dessert place which was pretty good and is reviewed specifically for that store. The seating is full but it’s possible to get a spot if you don’t mind sharing tables with others. This food court is a little further away from the central part of Flushing and the outside is demarcated only by a plastic wind blocking awning.

So happy to have found this food court because it has Happy Lemon! I haven’t seen Happy Lemon outside of Asia and I’m so excited NY finally has one! You must try the drinks at Happy Lemon! The food court feels much cleaner than New World Mall, which is a big plus. Also it is less crowded! They also have a good variety of food and also have tea shops and a dessert place!

Love this place! We tried a Szechuan resturant for spicy boiled fish, dandan noodle and cold noodle. Very tasty! Bible tea is good too!

Selection! I loved this authentic Asian style food court because there were so many different options within Chinese, Taiwanese, and ABC cuisines. There may be more that I hadn’t even gotten around to seeing. I ended up getting a spicy stir fry of different meats and veggies from So Incredi-bowl and a honey lemon green tea from Happy Lemon. I was extremely pleased with both. The food was cooked quickly and sold by weight. The flavor was amazing and if there was any component I didn’t like I would’ve had no one but myself to blame. The green tea drink tasted fresh and was so much better than drinks from other bubble tea shops I’ve tried before. It actually tasted like tea, lemon, and honey, not a watered down powder. Quick tip — as with most Asian establishments it’s wise to bring cash. Though both places accepted card, there was a $ 5 cash deposit for the bowl which I had my stir fry in. While this may be offsetting to some I think it’s a testament to how authentically Asian this food court is heh heh.

Aside from the fact that it was crowded, The N.Y. food court was an excellent choice for lunch on a busy saturday at 1pm. I have to be honest i was overwhelmed by how much more clean this food court is than Golden mall food court. Majority t of the business inside are rated as A rating from the sanitation department, so that is a very good start. They have a good amount of people servicing the waste disposal areas cleaning trays and tables. In comparison to the main street food court this place is like a 5 star /5 diamond hotel. Moving on to the variety of food, i wanted noodles, soup, and dumplings. I found a place at the deep end of the mall which has a beef stew soup in a rich broth with veggies, callions and cilantro. While waiting for my soup, i noticed there is a guy in the back who seems to be the master noodle maker. He actually makes the hand made noodles which make this shop stand out from the rest. He was hesitant to put on a show, so i did not take pics. Will definitely come back to eat here and with the free 3 hour parking at the mall nearby this is a great experience. Booth ##9 has a sign in Chinese and a sign on the bottom that says booth #9 dumplings, let me just say that their pork and shrimp dumplings were awesome. There was a 15 minute wait because everything is freshly made. However Well worth the wait. I was so hungry that i didnt take a pic of my soup… sorry.

On my way to shop at Target, I passed by this building. I looked inside and found it to be another food court just like that at the New World Mall. So we went in and walked around the floor to see what they offered. It is Tawainese cuisine. It is very clean and have many food vendors. There is plenty of seating and not as packed at the New World Mall which I liked. We weren’t sure what to get. But as soon as we passed 8090, we knew thats what we wanted. Those who bought from them were taking trays of sizzling meats on a cast iron. The steak plates looked so good. However since I am trying to cut down on my beef intake, We ordered the Tawainese style fish steak and a shrimp and egg with egg noodles. Both were delicious. I am definitely coming to this food court again.

I found my new happy place! Came here today after seeing a friend post pics on fb. My old favorite food court was in flushing mall cause it had my favorite steak place, ever since that mall closed down I have been hoping for the steak place to open back up and to my delight it was relocated here! I’m not sure if it’s the same owner or same spot but the sauce taste the same and the concept is the same you get steak on a hot place with noodle, salad and jasmine green tea. I would not recommend the premium steak it is quite expensive $ 18 and I honestly prefer the cheaper cut. My friend ordered the charcoal steak and the difference is the meat is more of a short ribs type where there is bone in it and has a smokey taste(hence the name) you get the option of having it cooked in pepper sauce(highly recommended) or mushroom sauce(similar but not as good as the pepper) My review is strictly for the steak spot and the happy lemon spot Pro: I love the flavor of the steak sauce and the noodle, it just pairs so well together. So happy this place opened up again Con: they raised the price —- Happy lemon– new favorite drink place in New York! It use to be Kung fu tea because I prefer a less artificial taste In my drink. This place puts real lemon(including the lemon skin) in their drink and although it takes forever for them to make one drink it is totally worth it! Yummy! I can’t wait to come back and try the other food this food court has to offer

After a busy and confusing day, I had to make the trip to Flushing. In past years, I’d always go to New World or Golden Mall to get my Chinese grub on. This time, I checked out New York Food Court. It looks relatively new, but presentable. This one had fewer options compared the other food courts I’ve been to, but kind promising. Not sure which stall I went to, but ate Lamb Hand Pulled Noodles, Lamb Dumplings, Lamb Burger, and Salt-N-Pepper Squid. They were decent… can’t complain there. Not sure when I’ll be back but I’ll keep exploring other food scenes in Flushing. NB: Avoid using the restrooms at all costs… went to wash my hands and was completely turned off with its maintenance(thank heavens I had hand sanitizer)!!!

I’ve been here once but ate takeout from here on a few occasions. I like the vendor that has spicy tripe and intestines. I could eat that all day. I’ve tried some of the other vendors that sell noodle soup and among other things. I wasn’t very fascinated with those dishes. The spicy dishes in this food court is what rocks. I also found this food court to be surprisingly clean. This is the first Chinese food court I’ve seen that doesn’t reek of weeks old fish and sewage. It’s actually clean in this joint. What I did find disgusting about this food court in Flushing was a majority of men who used the restroom did not wash their hands at all. GROSS!

Ahhhh. Flushing, Queens. The only Chinatown in New York City that hasn’t been gentrified with cafés, pointless art galleries and overpriced juice places. New York City needs more of these. Cultural food courts. This food court offers authentic cuisines from Xian, Shanghai and Southern China. Bubble tea, crepes, and ice cream are also some of the dessert options offered. A friend and I wanted to try Happy Lemon’s «salted cheese“green tea. Service was decent and my ordered came out in a quick and orderly fashion within minutes. My initial reaction when I tasted the salty cheese was that it tasted exactly the same as Gong Cha’s signature milk foam. Good, but extremely fattening. Overall, this is your typical Chinese food court for locals to hang out and grab a bite to eat. The venue was kept clean overall. Bathrooms were kept clean and were a popular hangout spot for old Asian men for some odd apparent reason. Would I come back? Sure.

The price has inflated and the quality has remained the same. I’ve tried almost every shop here except for the new one that was constructed in the open(reference to photo attached to this review) doesn’t add up to a 5 star. Yes, yes it is still cheap in terms of food pricing. But with the gentrification going full throttle in Flushing what was $ 5.50 last year is $ 6.50 this year. Flushing is known for cheap eats. Well, it was known at least. I would only expect that in 2016 the price would be $ 7.50 at this mall. Yes, yes still cheap but I wouldn’t trek out of my way to get here when I can just travel out of my way to go to Vanessa’s Dumplings or Prosperity Dumplings or even some of the best street meats which might be on par with the same quality food here without the raising of prices. Sad to say, I probably will eat in Flushing less frequently in the near future. Semi-Fan.

There can never be enough food courts in Flushing as long as they’re good, clean and offer a variety of choices. The New York Food Court is like an extension of existing food courts in Flushing. There are the usual choices of beverages, desserts, hand-pulled noodles, dumplings and serve by the pound meat/seafood stalls. Though every other food stall is a «serve by the pound» hotpot(which minimizes the variety), the prices are the same(unless one is offering a discount). I would recommend the Guchun Private Kitchen’s hand pulled noodles(lamb noodles with scion egg pancake roll) and the dumplings(chicken, pork and lame). The prices are reasonable for the big servings. For dessert, try the Mango Mango treats… The eating area is spacious but smaller than the New World Mall and is located in the outskirts of the main Flushing area(near College Point Blvd). The New York Food Court deserves 3 stars for the limited variety of choices.

I really love stall #24, I think it’s called 80908 something in Chinese. Their salt pepper chicken over rice smells amazing and it’s delicious! It came with a some pretty big pieces of chicken, a good portion of rice on the side, and miso soup. They also included some kimchi, egg, broccoli, and lettuce underneath the chicken. They ask you if you want to sauce when you go pick up your order, get it! It tastes so good with the chicken. One of the stalls in Flushing Mall sells the same thing, but this place gives you more and tastes fresher. Also, you can actually get reception here but if they had wifi that would be even better.

New food court in Flushing, like a smaller version of the one at New World Mall. Plenty of seats available and clean looking. There are a small variety of Chinese cuisine including hot pot, Szechuan, Taiwanese, etc. I went to Szechuan Taste where I ordered the spicy dan dan noodles. It is probably the most I have ever paid for this type of noodles at $ 6.75, however the portion is fairly large. Great numbing spice and tasty. I did find the noodles to be overcooked and hence kind of mushy and they were cheap with the veggies. The lady taking the order was very nice but she does not speak a word of English. Good thing all I had to do was point at the picture and say«one.» I probably would not come back here because I’d much rather go to New World Mall since there are way more options there.

This place is the same concept and design as the New World Mall food court located in Roosevelt ave and Main. The size of this place is smaller and food choices are less. My girlfriend and I came last night to grab dinner. She’s been here several times and wanted to show me around. Now we were quite hungry so we got 4 dishes and a drink. Great portions and prices are cheap! Our favorites: Happy Lemon ‘s Taro Milk tea with 30% less sugar Dumpling’s Pork with cabbage(12 gigantic dumplings for under $ 5) Xi’an style smoked chicken with cumin and pepper flakes.(it’s a cold and messy dish but I loved it) disposable gloves are included with purchase.
Taiwanese fried chicken(fried to perfection) Need improvements: Boiled Sichuan fish — Shui Zhu Yu(2nd booth from the entrance) fish was too soft and doesn’t taste that good. The dish was loaded with MSG b/c I was reaching for my drink every time I ate a piece of fish.

Finally! For now, plenty of seating, much cleaner, and much more calm than the congested New World Mall food court. I am a pig when it comes to food and I like options! This is an ideal place for a group of friends who want different things and there is plenty of seating(for now!). I would get the Pork Chop over Rice from Taiwanese stall. Fish Dumplings from the Dumplings stall. Liang Pi Noodles stand is actually not bad, too! Lemon slushie from Happy Lemon(A MUST!). Finishing off with Mango Mango dessert! Food is very fresh here and pretty good so far! My only critique is that there are at least four vendors that sell the stir-fry hot pot here. We may be getting a value due to competition but we shall see who will be the last one standing. Check it out!

My 1000th review goes to the brand new food court in Flushing. It’s new, it’s clean, it’s bright. The décor is exactly the same as the food court in New World Mall; wondering if it’s the same owner? My favorite stall: mango mango! I always wished for them to open in Flushing, since there was only one in Chinatown. Also tried the Taiwanese stall and dumplings one. Looking forward to trying everything here since they don’t have much right now. Note: Some menus are ONLY in Chinese and some stalls ONLY speak Mandarin. But there are always pretty pictures to point to.
