Long story short: Jay is a total life saver! Or bill saver! Who can beat their price?!
A family member went to Korea yesterday and text/​calls me… I’m not sure how much international texts cost with my plan but I was not going to end up with a phone bill that costs over $ 1k!
I ended up giving Mr. J a call to find out about international plans. He told me he has a smart phone with an international unlimited calling/​text plan with some data. Okay, cool! I told him that I’ll be there after work.
I walked in and explained that I already have a great plan but I just need something for one month until the family member comes back to the states. I just wanted to be in contact and make sure everything is okay. If she wanted to keep the plan once she gets back to contact family overseas, she can continue on.
Fortunately for me, Jay of Mr. j’s had a great solution for me! Which is awesome since I can be pretty indecisive and I hate it when sales reps try to be sneaky and just sell merchandise to make profit or commission. He was very professional (professionalism means A LOT to me because I will walk out if I feel like I’m gonna be scammed — yes, this does happen… especially if I’m giving you my hard earned money).
Anyways! I got a prepaid phone for $ 30/​month! Hooray! This is totally affordable for international students and I’ll definitely be sending them to Mr. J’s!

Jay helped me end my dreaded sprint service and switch over to T-​Mobile. I am so happy that I am paying half of what I used to pay, but getting better service than Sprint. Highly recommend this place to everyone that is looking to switch over to T-​mobile or any other carriers that Mr. J’s handle. They fix phones too and helped me fix my Iphones in the past. So experienced and knowledgable and kind.

Someone stole my phone so my friend lent me his old iPhone 5. The screen was cracked and all jacked up, so after some suggestions, a friend of mine told me to come here. Not only did they fix my screen, after several other issues and having to bring in my phone in another 4 times for all different problems that arose, they were kind enough to give me free parts that were missing/​stolen, and then not charge me for certain things… after all, this wasn’t my phone.
Overall, it was such a wonderful experience and even after all the hassle of having to continue going back to them, they were patient with me and saw the whole process through.

Cracked the screen on my phone and really didn’t want to buy a new one to replace one that was perfectly fine, albeit old. Called a few places that fixed screens and was told my phone was too old, they didn’t carry it and that it would be hard to find a screen for it. Found out about Mr J’s from my sister who had just gotten the screen on her iPhone replaced by these guys and was told they could order one for me. Dropped off the phone, had lunch down the street, picked it up an hour later and it’s perfect! Great customer service, friendly, and helpful.
Oh yeah, if you need to call them, their number is 570−3399… the number on Unilocal is wrong, at the moment, but they’re working on fixing that.

Although this store is new, I was a loyal customer of Jay at his old job for years. He was always good to me. Once I heard that he opened his own, I just had to move my lines over to him, especially since my contract ended. He had variety of carriers and it made sense for me to swap because bills were too high. Pre-​paid lines are a good option for my relatives that are visiting from abroad.
