I always used them for Christmas photos and confirmation photos of my kids, and will book an appointment tomorrow for my son’s grad photo. Glad to see they are still here, because the photos were BEAUTIFUL, and I see no reason for that to have changed over the last few years. If my kids were not grown, I’d still be doing the christmas card photos there – They were that great! To say nothing of the convenience of not waiting in a mall studio.

My friend and I were both disappointed. The place I used to go for license/passport/etc. photos closed down(now they were really good), so I came here since it was convenient. In my case, the photo was badly distorted. On the computer screen, they looked okay but once printed, the photos looked completely different. It’s not a vanity issue because I don’t care about that, but I barely recognize myself in them. And that’s not going to work for a passport photo. I didn’t bother trying to get a refund or retake, I could tell right off the bat how they would be about that kind of thing(I’ve worked under many different Korean employers, I know how some of them can be). And I was right, which my friend proved with her experience. My friend went there for her citizenship application photo. She wears color contacts, but forgot to take them out and wasn’t entirely sure if they had to be removed for the photo. So she asked them if it was necessary and the girl taking her photo said no(as it turns out, you do have to remove them). And while the girl was fiddling with the computer, another employee passed by and made a comment in Korean and the two of them laughed loudly over it(my friend doesn’t understand Korean, so she sat there feeling uncomfortable and paranoid). Her photos came out distorted worse than mine and as it turned out, they were rejected by her lawyer for the application. And when she went back to ask for a refund, they gave her an attitude and tried to deflect blame by interrogating her. To quote them, «This is only your word.» In conclusion, neither of us is ever going back there and I strongly recommend that no one else should either.

went here to get my passport photo taken. It was fast and cheap. Came out a little out of focus but lets see what the post office says.

When I was a child my mother use to develop her rolls of films and even did studio pictures one special occasions such as my first communion, my brothers graduation, and just a basic family photo shoot. Now in the modern world I have rediscovered them and love the quality in comparison to the the other one hour photos in Flushing. The pictures just come out better because they have been in business for year and they know what they are doing, the paper is the best quality they always provide the best frames and most of all for the studio pictures they have backdrops and props for a plethora of occasions. Another great deal they offer are their passport pictures, being knowledgeable in the required sizes for a number of different countries. Living Image not only offers quality pictures but great customer service!
