History

Established in 1981.

Since 1981, Kiddie Academy has provided a better way to care for and educate children and create stronger communities. It’s something we’re passionate about and why we’ve been an education-​based childcare leader for more than 30 years.

Meet the Manager

Manager

I joined the Kiddie Academy team at our Whitestone location in September of 2011. As I taught preschool, it became evident that the Kiddie Academy philosophy in early childhood education matched my own. That is when I decided to pursue the adventure of becoming the director of our Flushing location when it opened its doors in October of 2013.

I have a BA in Elementary and Early Childhood Education and a MS in Childhood Education. By applying my 15 years of experience in the field, my goal is to create an environment where our students feel safe, nurtured, and free to explore. It is in these early years that we must lay the foundation for a successful future through a lifelong love of learning. With my guidance and support, our teachers will accomplish this by providing an atmosphere that incorporates a variety of manipulatives and cooperative learning materials to actively engage students’ minds. We strive to motivate and inspire the children placed in our care.
