This place is wonderful to visit or even attend services regularly on Sundays. Peaceful. Tranquil. You can sit quietly during silent worship and hear the birds chirping as a nice breeze wafts through the worship room. Hard to describe but I have good memories of attending silent worship services here. The grounds are also beautiful. Especially during the Spring/​Summer season. Help yourself to a stroll and appreciate this truly historic, magical place.

From Wikipedia, «The site, built in 1694, is the oldest house of worship in New York City, one of the three oldest continuously active sites of religious activity in North America, and the second oldest Quaker meeting house in the nation. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1967.»
It was locked and I couldn’t get in, but they had thing where they gave you some history outside. Supposedly silent meetings are at 11:00am on Sunday.
I was awed to see such a historical place.
