Flushing Hotel

What really got to me was that They have absolutely NO customer service. After trying to reach the hotel for a week before i got there to no avail. I parked in front of the hotel where it clearly stated 1hr parking I even paid a toll just in case. I walked in and the receptionist was sleeping on the desk. I literally had to knock on the desk to wake her up. And then with no apologies she asks «can I help you» like I was disturbing her. I asked why we couldn’t contact the hotel that I was worried about my reservation and she tells me that they have been experiencing telephone and internet issues for a couple weeks. No the less, our reservation is there. We checked in. She confirmed that she had parking in the back. This process took about 15mins. I go to park my car in the back and BAM! A freaking $ 115 ticket. I chalk it up to me not knowing the city and accept the ticket. I had to drive around the block twice to find the ally way where the parking lot was. Its to the Left of the giant fountain btw. And you car WILL scrape on the concrete going into it. You have to make a left turn at a right angle and then try to get around the cars that are already parked there and make a right turn into the parking space at another right angle. While avoiding the walls. Its literally 8 parking spots with every car blocking each other. So you have to leave your keys at the front desk so that if another car wants to move they have to move everyone’s car. Oh and if you don’t get there early enough that a parking is available, you’re screwed and have to find a parking on the street. Happy hunting… The room itself wasn’t horrible. But It obviously wasn’t clean too good. Just made to «look clean» at first glance. … Now let’s get to the complimentary breakfast. This is their menu; cup or roman noodles, cold frozen pancake and waffles with no syrup and their toaster didn’t work. Boils egg, white slice bread, 5 orange slices, and Chinese pourage. Coffee with no sugar or creamer, and tiny packets of peanut butter and jelly… I made sure to put the little thing on the door that saod i would like my room cleaned before i left. I was gone for a full day and i came back to and unclean room. I went down to the front desk and the receptionist tells me that the 1 cleaning guy they have already did my floor. Obviously he skipped my room. The receptionist then asks if I want my room clean now. I said yes I’ve been gone all day. It should have been clean already. I go back upstairs and wait an hour and a half for the cleaning guy to get there. He knocks once and then just opens the door. And proceeds to set up. I waited in the hall way for 30 mins for him to be done. All he did was fix the beds and replace the toiletries and trash. Nothing was wiped or vacuumed or swept. .I asked for an extra pillow and towel and was told that they don’t have extras… On our way out of the tiny parking lot, there was a car about to enter the lot but of course there’s only room for one car at a time down the ally way. There is no way possible for me to back up and return to the parking lot so I ask him to let me out before he comes in. He calls me a moron and tells me that this is a one way. BUT THERE IS NO OTHER EXIT IN THAT PARKING LOT. I tell him I’m staying here so I have a right to come through here and he stay that he Works there and that I need to let him in. … These are the people and the type of service that you will get at this hotel. If you are okay with paying for that kind of service, then this is a good hotel for you. I however am not. So this will be my first and last stay. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

What a bad hotel and bad service. I will never ever choose again. They do not have any service. And really noise, what a bad customer service. This should the worst hotel I have been to. As results, do not choose that again.

This is Zero star Hotel. Dirty, Smelly Worst hotel I have ever seen. No parking. And they are big crook they didn’t show my room till I let them charge my credit card. I was shock to compere a photos on line and real room. They are not refund my money for 3 night. I think City of New York must shot down this junk hotel to save peoples life from new disease. Stay away from Flushing hotel, they catch customers with 3 Star and better price.

Picture yourself on a Saturday morning, leaving the club, and every place you called to check for vacancies is booked. Flushing Hotel was a dream come true because I wasn’t ready for the party to end between my babe and I. We got there within 15 minutes from The Bronx to Queens. I never knew we’d get there so quick, but I guess my babe wanted to party just as bad as I did. Ha, ha, ha. We were charged $ 99+tax which came up to a total of $ 118. We only wanted to stay from 6 am — 2 pm. The room was really nice and now I wish I would’ve taken pictures. My drunken state of mind didn’t allow me to think so far ahead though. I believe the bed was a Queen sized bed, the television was a nice size also, and the bathroom was also nice. The shower is nothing like I’ve ever seen before because in order to turn the shower on, you have to pull down or lift up something under the tub spout. The spout is the part where the water comes out from. The sink is pretty dope too. There were towels handy but there were no washcloths in place. I was willing to just wash with the soap this time though. Normally, I would call the desk and request some washcloths. In fact, my babe called but got no answer. Blah… Other than that, no complaints. Breakfast is provided from 7 am — 10 am but we overslept.

The room is too SMALL, smell TERRIBLE, the floor is DIRTY, and the bed is UNCOMFORTABLE
One more BAD thing: fucking crazy parking for customer!!!
Two ladies at the front desk have a bad attitude, english is not good, and they act like they dont want to service customer!!!
This is the WORST hotel i have ever been !!!
I Will NEVER come back!!!

This place is known locally for having horrible customer service, drug use, and is generally filled with prostitutes and their «johns».

If I could give this hotel 0 stars I would. What a dump!!! Found a hair in the sheets. The headboard was made out of material and was as so sticky you could use it as fly sticky paper. The floors had cigarette burn holes everywhere. I don’t think the carpet had been vacuumed in months. I was so disgusted with the carpet that I wouldn’t put my suitcase on it. The tile bathroom was filthy and had hair in the grout. The room wreaked of smoke. The lamp shades looked as if they were thrown up against a wall one too many times. There were 3 spit balls on the door (I think they were there to hide holes in the wall). The paint on the walls were peeling. Needless to say I arrived at this hotel at 11:00pm. Slept on top of the covers, didn’t attempt to shower because it was filthy. Didn’t brush my teeth because of fear of catching something. Checked out at 7:00am and was happy to find a hotel elsewhere. I can’t believe anyone in their right mind would call this a hotel. They should bulldoze it and start from scratch.

I wish it was possible to give zero stars. The staff seemed nice but was very unprofessional. The women at the front desk was wearing a monkey tee shirt and yoga pants. This is the cheapest hotel in the area but spend the extra and go somewhere else. Our room didn’t even have a mattress! Sorry but I’m not spending $ 100+ a night to sleep on a box spring covered in children sheets. I felt like I needed a shower the second I got in the room and they wanted to keep our car keys due to their small parking lot. Needless to say to checked out after about 20 minutes and never turned back.

This hotel sucks balls man shit look like a trap house and for those who don’t know what trap house means (a house to sell drugs in and hang out)

A great value for your money. This is the best deal I could find in a great location. I needed a room at the last minute and the staff was very helpful. The rate for one weekend night was less than I could find anywhere else on Main Street in Flushing. It was very close to 7 train and LIRR so I was able to get into Manhattan easily. They even have a free parking lot (limited spaces) but I was able to get one and it was great. Room was clean and the staff was very nice.

so suck!!! The room is very dirty, and small. service attitude is very poor. At the front desk that guy, very very bad, don’t respect customer.

2 things makes this place so much better than other hotels around it :
First: Their price is the cheapest on the Flushing Main street, before I enter New York state from MA by driving, I had to do some research about the hotel price on the main street (cuz my friend told me the hotels on main street will be very expensive!!!) Well, this place ends up to be the cheapest one on the main street. Under $ 150 for the room which tax already included is the price that I was looking for. Damn, all other hotels are either $ 200 or $ 140 before the tax.
Second: The location is so nice, since it is on the main street, so it closes to everything– #7 train subway only 3 blocks away, and there are countless good taste restaurants around it.
One more thing for the good side: I like they made the check in time to be 2pm and check out time is 12 noon time. I think all other hotels set it to be 3pm check in and 11 to check out. So they give you actually extra 2 hours for the stay, which I think it is a big deal for me, the extra 2 hours really making a big difference for me, I did not need to be rush since they offer 2 more hours for the guest.
Before I decide to stay with them, I had to go over all the reviews, I noticed some ppl say their room are very dirty and staff are rude. Well, the elevator does get some funny smells, but my room was fine, it is just like all other hotels, no complaints about the cleanness. And the staff actually pretty nice to us, the front desk ppl check us in really quick and answered all the questions we asked and the housekeeping ppl is very kind, they give us everything we need. So I believe I am lucky did not really listen to those negative reviews, and I saved big money for the new york stay.
However, the parking lot is first come first serve, they only could hold 6 cars in total, and to get in and out could be little bit hard for the first time, but it is doable one.

I like the their reception service, the receptionist was very kind, helpful and informative. He acknowledged me where to get great chinese food in town, and answered all my questions with patience. He even drew me a map to direct me to the subway station and supermarket. Overall, the service they provided exceeded my expectation at this small, inexpensive hotel. I would definitely stay at this hotel again for my next visit to nyc.

Our scheduled check in time was at 2pm but the room wasn’t ready till 6. That room was just cleaned so the carpet was still wet and the bathroom very slippery. So we asked to move rooms. Service was great. My family all got bug bites. Not sure if it was from the beds or from walking around NY… free wifi I okay. Breakfast was okay. 7am-​10am breakfast.

Avoid this hotel, the rooms are very dirty, the place is cold, the staff surly, and worst of all, there are BED BUGS. It’s really like one of the worst motels you’ve ever stayed in. I told the guy at the front desk and he looked at me like I was lying. I don’t know about most bill scammers, but I doubt they usually depart at 2am with a bed bug story. From what I’ve read about the bugs you rarely see them, but I found this one walking on me, he was huge. I’ll attach a photo. If you saw the state of the headboards on the beds you wouldn’t be surprised about the bugs.
The cost is something like $ 140/​night, I didn’t end up paying so I don’t know for sure.
There are more reputable places within 1 – 2 miles. Not really in the core of flushing but a short cab ride away.
On the bright side, this hotel does have a very small parking lot and offers free wifi (which wasn’t working)
I see staff from the hotel just responded to my post. I guess he is calling me a liar about the bugs. So I flew across the country and staged a bed bug photo? Another poster also says they have bed bugs. The price isn’t too bad and it is in the middle of the area, but if you get bitten by bed bugs or the bed bugs get into your luggage and end up in your home, you will NOT feel like it was a discount.
Sadly, many of the people staying in this hotel do not speak English and will not be using Unilocal so won’t know about the bed bugs.

WARNING!!! Avoid this hotel AT ALL COSTS. You will thank me later.
Not only do they refuse to even LISTEN to the customers’ complaints, they will not give customers a refund at their request.
We booked 8 rooms for 4 nights for a group of 14 people on tour. Note that they are seasoned travelers as they’ve been touring internationally (NYC is not the first stop), so they have stayed at countless hotels.
And this hotel is by far the worst of them all.
The rooms had an overpowering, stale smell with broken air conditioners. Furnished with the most ripped and frayed carpets they’ve ever seen, the rooms are extremely tiny with absolutely no space to store more than one carry-​on or hang any clothes. It also didn’t help that the room had no sound-​proofing… the guests may as well have slept on the streets themselves with the noises of Main Street and Northern Blvd.
But the worst part was the service.
The girl at the main desk was completely ridiculous. When we raised the issues with our rooms to her, she deemed them baseless because according to her, customers did not complain to her. When we asked to speak to the manager, she refused to contact him. It wasn’t until we demanded to speak to him when she finally called him (on the telephone).
And listen to this! When we politely asked to meet with him at the front desk, the manager REFUSED to come downstairs. Then we asked for a refund, which he denied as well.
SO the moral of the story is: DON’T STAY HERE because of their atrocious customer service and no refund policy.

The rooms arent very special. Not terribly spacious and also not too small. For some odd odd reason the hotel doesnt turn on the heat… in winter. If you’re freezing your toes off, call the front desk and ask for more blankets.
and yes… there are many ways to order a room. Hourly* and nightly are both available. mmmhmmmmmmmm~**

we booked a room here because my friend whos a local, says its one of the cheaper hotels in flushing. it seemed kinda shady at first when i went to their website, and when i checked in they charged my credit card and gave me a general receipt that printed out in one of those portable receipt machines. it was ok, i don’t remember staying in the room too long, i think i paid like $ 150/​night. i don’t know how this compares to other hotels in flushing, but it seems to be one of the better ones since i didn’t see any big american hotel chains around the area.
