I previously reviewed this service stating that the menus had markups and dishonest prices vs the actual restaurant menu. I retracted this negative review due to a rep from Flushing food explaining this was not the case but then again and again I found this to be untrue. Dishonest. The «processing» fee’s are simply outrageous vs ordering from the restaurants directly.
However that isn’t even the big problem. Use your credit card information at your own risk. My credit card information had been hijacked after using
. My credit card had a slew of fraudulent charges placed online the following few days I have ordered food from them. At first I thought it was just a coincidence, but this also happened to a few of my friends following their orders. Be careful as it seems someone at Flushing food is accessing this data to make these fraudulent charges. Pretty easy to get your data since its all on file during your checkout process. I urge customers who have used this service to check your credit card statements to see if your card security has been breached. I have since reported this case to my credit card company in which they have already launched an investigation. I have used them for the last time and warn anyone to use them at their own risk.

I appreciate and sincerely do hope that you are taking my concern seriously yet I also will do the same when it comes to my personal credit information being at risk. Until my credit card company proves me different I will adhere to my allegations. In regards to you stating «no one has access» to any credit card information, the Privacy Policy on your webpage #2 contradicts your statement totally.

We restrict this information only to the minimum elements required to prepare and complete your orders. However, we do not share your information to third parties other than the information necessary to conduct business as stated above.
In addition, we do not use your credit card information for any purpose other than to process payment for orders through our site. We safeguard the security of your credit card information during checkout transmission by a reputable Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol, which uses at least 128 bit web browser encryption as it’s passed from your computer to our website. For added protection, we also never store your credit information in its entirety on our website, which is protected behind strict firewalls.
Moreover your «facts» aren’t holding much ground. In regards to my — accusations of your different pricing– please pay attention in particular to the menu for Yu Sushi bar:
–click their menu.
Please take a moment to compare the prices vs your menu online. Notably the Hamachi Kama which is $ 10 dollars on their site vs the $ 15 on yours. Or the A la carte Sushi, for some reason your cost differs from .25 cents, .50 cents and so on. This is just ONE of many examples where
charges more on TOP of processing fees.
Lastly I don’t care about any mumbo jumbo about what and who you know from the 109^th precinct or Attorney general or the Surgeon General or even Colonel Sanders. I just know that after I used your service, 2 days later I got a LOT of charges on my CC, including my friends who have used your services recently. PERHAPS there is some lack of credibility in your bold and perpetuated statements. Perhaps you might be able to investigate if there is a bad apple within your staff? You can stand up to what you believe, but what you happen to believe at the moment has been proven false.

I discovered this service last year when I called one of the restaurants listed on this site. whoever picked up told me to use

I was so excited to see the website and all the places I can order from since I live in an area without too many restaurants.
It was good for a while, but as this business expands, I feel like the service isn’t as good as it was before. They are always running 5 – 10 minutes late now…

After 2 unpleasant experiences with the customer service, the manager system showed a really good effort for rectifying the problem and pacifying the customers.
The manager had called me twice right after the incident, and made an apology regarding to the unprofessional services that I had and offered me a full refund in regards for that particular order.
The reason I’m giving a 4 stars out of 5 is because there’s still space for improvements, such as the delivery waiting period, and of course the customer service. Over all, I would like to say, they really CARE about the business and are WILLING TO DO BETTER!

Extremely bad services! !!! Always late for delivery, don’t ever order soup from them cause it would be spilled all the time for sure… the drivers they use are really unreliable, the guy who works in the office is extremely slow never really solve problems for the customers…

I was very excited when I first discovered this service and never had an issue till the last few months. This is a delivery service so I expect delivery to my door but I end up going downstairs to pick it up every time now! The only reason I order is because I don’t want to go out especially with a 3 month old baby at home! What is the purpose if I still have to change and pick it up and to find the guy just standing outside my front building door and refusing to come up to my apt?! Not cool!

Great service when the food doesn’t take two hours to get to my house.

Customer service promptly responded to me on the lapse in good service. Victoria, their customer service rep, looked into the issue and apologized for the mishap and processed a refund for the order, pending 7 days.
What speaks bounds about a company more than good service is how they handle gaps in good service, as every company will have gaps in good service. I applaud them for having a responsive customer service team.

When I found out Flushing Food delivered to my area in Fresh Meadows, my wife and I were excited. We would order at least once a week. It was convenient for us when we had to work late. We were able to order food from a variety of restaurants and delivery usually arrived promptly. However, they expanded their delivery zone in 2015 and raised the minimum order price for delivery to twice what it was in our area. With just two people in the house, it has become impossible to use this service. Had our minimum order price not changed from $ 15 to $ 30 to qualify for delivery, this would have been a 5 star review.

Today was the second time we used this service and both times it worked out well. We had a small party with friends over in Fresh Meadows and the roads were covered with slush and snow so none of us wanted to drive out let alone try to find parking in Flushing.
It was a Saturday around 1pm and we ordered from one of my favorite places Canton Gourmet. After ordering online, we got a confirmation call letting us know the expected wait would be a 45 – 50 minute delivery time and that tip was not needed. All we would need to do was show the credit card and ID. 50 minutes later we got a call from the delivery guy that he was in the street so we went out and got our food. Showed our ID, credit card, signed the paper and then it was lunchtime!
After reading some of the reviews, I questioned if we were charged the standard restaurant prices and can confirm the dishes we ordered matched the restaurant’s menu prices as well as having the physical receipt from there. The only thing we were charged was a processing fee which came out to a little over 10 dollars for an order costing $ 102 (tax included). Considering it would probably have taken at least 30 minutes if not more to drive to Canton gourmet, park, and drive home, the cost was totally worth it for us.

This is the most AWESOME service that I just discovered… perfect for my first review in 2015. Flushing Food Inc is the newest GrubHub or Seamless… but specifically for flushing eateries. I love flushing food, but I dodge the place like it’s the Black Plague. I can’t stand fighting over parking spots and people J walking all over the street. Now, with Flushing Food Inc, they can deliver my flushing goodies directly to my door (rain or shine). Not only was the delivery guy nice, but he also delivered our food 15 minutes ahead of when he was scheduled and on a snowy day. No tips necessary (but you are indirectly paying a 16% tip… they just word it nicely and call it an «online processing fee».
On the plus side:
+ They take credit cards (unlike most Flushing eateries).
+ They have a great variety of participating restaurants (Nan Xiang Xiao Long Bao is on here too!!!)
+ They deliver a lot further than if you were to call the restaurant itself.
+ Great for lazy people like me that don’t want to drive out to flushing.
Thanks for coming to Fresh Meadows! Please keep adding restaurants to your list! I will definitely use your services again!

This is the best thing thats ever happened to me since I discovered GrubHub. I’ve lived in Flushing for many years and one of my biggest gripes has always been that delicious asian restaurants wouldn’t deliver. This meant either my boyfriend or I always taking a bus, walking, or just not ordering the food we want.
I was introduced to Flush​ing​Food​.Com by a friend and tried it for the first time today. A few things to note:
1. Depending on your order price, they charge a «order processing fee»
2. This fee is not tip, but you DO NOT have to tip their drivers as they make a wage.
3. Ordering is not as seamless as GrubHub or Eat24, so you have to confirm multiple times
4. The number of choices are endless! They even have dessert places like Kulu Desserts and Kung Fu Tea available.
My driver actually arrived 10 minutes BEFORE the slated arrival time which was great. The food wasn’t too good — not any fault of Flushing Food, but I will DEFINITELY be ordering from here from now on.

Horrible.
This was my third time ordering from them, the first two times they were 20 minutes late but I let it slide. Tonight I ordered at 6:50pm for a 7:40 delivery, and the delivery man came at 8:45. I told him he was 1 hour late but he said he couldn’t find the place– I’m not sure if he meant the restaurant or my apartment, which is on a major street 2 blocks from the 7 train station. Flushing Food only services a few restaurants so I have no idea how he could have trouble finding the restaurant. This is absolutely abysmal. If he had run into problems the least he could have done was called us or emailed us since he had our number and email.

Working in Downtown Flushing for years made me grow oblivious of the fact there are so many good authentic eateries around you because there are just TOO many options to choose from! Too much information is never good, and you always end up eating at the same place that’s closest to you.
Flushing Food had well managed to put those various selection of restaurants (near or far) on their website in a visually appealing/​organized way. Lunch discussion at my office gets pretty intense sometimes (don’t we all?) and we always go on to
to check out our options. The layout of the website is SO simple and helpful to navigate (no more looking through pages of menus anymore!) which makes your life a lot easier =).
Delivery was surprisingly fast and the service was excellent. The drivers deliver right to your door even in rain/​snow and accepts no tips! I guess many drivers working for
are local and they know their way around to get to you fast?
Had a minor hiccup with
when they forgot to put orders for a small side dish. However, the representative via Live-​chat was great and refunded my money right away.
Overall, a very satisfactory experience with this wonderful website so far. Hope they expand their selections to the furthest parts of Flushing to help many small mom and pop businesses as well as to satisfy our munchies!

I’ve been ordering on this website for half a year. Before this week, every experience has been pleasant.
This week, I ordered a gift for my friends, and when the driver showed up to them, he DEMANDED tip. My friend called me and told me, I was like what the hell…
So I contacted them via Livechat, and they responded that day telling me the driver would go back to return the 3 $ tip.
The driver never showed up, and the next day I contacted flushingfood again. It is not about the money, but if you advertise no tips neccesary why does your driver DEMAND TIP?
The second day, the livechat rep said they’d have the manager call me back the next day.
The third day, no call from manager. I livechat them again and they tell me they cannot refund cash or bring the tip back, only can refund to my credit card. This was the most ridiculous experience I have ever had.
They charge 15% Processing fee (no other online delivery service charges this.) which is pretty much mandatory tip.
I will not be ordering from them again, they weren’t even willing to compensate for their driver’s greed. Only a 3 $ refund on credit card when my friends received the gift as a «need to tip». Ridiculous. Fix your customer service please

This service is hit or miss. Ive had my food delivered on time or in the case last week, almost 2hrs later! I called the service number and I was told 5 mins. Food finally comes and one of soups spills into the bag. I tried calling back the number many times and got a voice mail. I blocked my number and someone picks up. Shady…
What everyone who is reading this review needs to realize is YOU ARE INDIRECTLY PAYING TIP! Check the menu at any of the restaurant’s sites and compare it to the
menu. FLUSHINGFOOD MARKS UP THE MENU! If you add that to the 13percent or so service charge, it adds up. Dont be fooled or feel bad for not tipping, youre paying in one way or another.
Youre paying for the convenience…
Also, one of the drivers dragged my iron fence across my driveway, leaving a permanent scratch. NO TREPASSING SIGN! Moron.
Ill probably use them again, but if youre looking to save on cost, youre better calling the restaurant yourself and picking it up.

is the worst online service I have ever experienced. Waited for over 2 hours for the food delivery and confirmation Email shows 30 minutes upon purchase, restaurant owners called in 1 hour after the purchase saying they do not have certain dishes and asking for a swap for another dish. Poor communication between the restaurant and the website business. Food never came for 2 hours and I canceled the order and went to eat else where, they still charged my credit card and impersonate signature of a delivery receipt and telling me that they delivered the food. My credit card company disputed the charge without a question.
This is the only review I have ever written because the service is so bad and the
owner John is a low class citizen, left me rude unprofessional voice mail and expect me to return his calls. Felt disgusted.
I would recommend folks to use their website to get menus but call directly to the restaurant for food delivery, save a few bulks on transaction fee and not to deal with a middle man hassle. I also noted that there is no https secure connection established when creating accounts on the site so be cautious about your personal info. The website is done via some default site builder or template with cheap hosting. Protect your data is important.

Does that even work? (Corner28 website doesn’t work). So I went on and checked it out. OMG. Nan Xiang Dumpling House was on it. Sunway. Tung Yi Fung. Canton Gourmet. Phở Vietnamese. Little Pepper. 66 Lu. Even Chatime (Kinds weird.)
So, it being a rainy day today, I decided to try out this website.
— One weird thing that they keep reiterating on each restaurant page is that they don’t take tips on the website. (Maybe the webmaster should just disable the function altogether?)
— There’s a online processing fee depending on the price of the food.
— There’s tax.
— Delivery range is a lot further than if you were to phone in for delivery
— They took all 4 types of credit cards (Amex and Discover!)
— Tung Yi Fung delivers Dim Sum. You heard me.
I ordered from Phở Vietnamese and they website estimated 40 minutes for delivery. The guy actually came 10 minutes earlier than estimated. I signed the printout he had. Since it was a rainy day, I wanted to tip the guy $ 2 extra, but refused! Such dedicated customer service! Long story short, I’ll be playing with this site a lot from now on.

I need a soup dumpling fix today, so I call Nan Xiang Dumpling House, off course, just like any other Flushing restaurants they don’t accept credit card. But the lady over the phone told me to order through
. Not only they accept credit card AND they deliver to Fresh Meadow.
TIPS: They don’t accept tips, A HUGH PLUS! I don’t need to deal with «I want more tips» face delivery guy.
