Auburndale Tire

Had an appointment in Queens and realized I had a big screw in my rear tire. I had to get it patched in a hurry because of the appointment, and the guys at Auburndale Tire took me in right away. The job wasn’t rushed and careless. They did great work and the service was incredibly fast and friendly. First time there, and I’ll definitely take my car there again if needed.

Been going here 15 years now family owned business they do quality work and treat there costumers right!

Saw some mixed reviews but i had no choice but to use these guys cuz ihave a 93 corolla with uncommon tires. The smiling guy with the cap featured in this site helped me out. Honored the discount from their site… good pricing for item and service…5stars!

BEWARE They are Scammers. They tell you different prices over the phone just to get you in and then scam you.

Been there a few times since and it’s been great every time. I’m about 8 – 10 oil changes in with this place and I’m hitting 100k miles soon so far I’m a happy customer

Scammers. All neg reviews that are «not recommended» are all true. They popped holes in someones tires nearby just so that the person would have no choice but to go to them. Also, not sure who it was but one of the employees was super rude. Would not recommend.

I got 4 run flat tires from them and they did a great job at a reasonable price. My customer service guy Justin, who was busy but still made time to address my concerns. He answered all my questions and let me inspect the tire and before and after it was put on. I was happy with my service.

To start… I was preparing my car for the winter to come and knew that I definitely needed to get a new set of all season tires make sure my car was reliable to handle any type of crazy weather. Chose the «Kumho Solus TA11 — #2 182 923 Standard Touring All Season.» I placed my tire order through
because it was free ship-​to-​store and there was a clear break down of costs for Auburndale Tire to install my tires. Shipping was fast and prior to them arriving I wanted to make sure I scheduled a good time to get them installed. Staff over the phone were professional and gave exact prices to whatever service I was asking for. This was a surprise since most places usually, «Oh well bring it in and let’s take a look» or «I can’t give a price over the phone,» which is bull so I really respected Auburndale Tire for that.
Day of my tires installation… My tires finally gave up on me! Got a flat a block away from the driveway, I call them up and tell them my situation. Owner offers a solution immediately and sends one of his guys to help. He arrives with an air compressor but sees that the tire is off the rim so he changes it for my spare tire. I know it’s their job but they were really nice about it and didn’t overcharge me an arm and a leg for an emergency save. I mean an emergency tow for a flat nowadays is over $ 100 and they helped me get from point A to B for less than half that. THANK YOU!
Installation time… Got a complete breakdown of what was being done and how much by the front guy, Justin. Everything you’d expect from great customer service. I felt secure leaving my car in their hands and was told it’d be about 2 – 3 hours. This time included installation of new tires, rotors, and brake pads and then a wheel alignment test. Luckily, there were a few nice shops and food around so it was pleasant. The waiting area is comfortable: cable tv, wonderfully sweet, big dogs, restroom, and the staff were all good people.
On time delivery… Everything was completed within the time. At time of pickup, met the owner and he was really down to earth. He even told me that usually buying the tires and wheels from the shop are an even better deal. I also believe that he’s the «bald guy» that a few Unilocalers have mentioned because well he was the only bald one there. I had my guard up but was really proven wrong. He’s just loud, relax. Big guy, big heart, right?
The point is… He tells me this is a family business that’s been there for many years and well I’m really glad I found it. It’s difficult to find a trustworthy place especially for a woman. Many see the kid seats in the back and a woman bringing in their minivan and then think they can take advantage. I’M NOT DUMB. I do research and I won’t bring my business to you if you treat me as such. Auburndale Tire checked out right from beginning to end and I’ll definitely go back for future car maintenance because to my surprise, THEY ARE A COMPLETE AUTO CARE SHOP, not just tires. Their services and prices are posted up so there’s no shady throw-​around type of pricing and the prices were reasonable.

Prices are fair and the staff are really nice but that bald guy who is either the manager or owner is disrespectful and rude. I won’t be returning here cause I dont like the way I was treated. I had no cash and let him know. He said don’t worry about it and SHOOK my hand. Then when i went to pay he told me to go home and get cash. Someone who shakes my hand and backs off loses any respect I had.
Plenty of other places with better customer service.
heres a tip. just don’t let that bald guy talk to customers.

At Auburndale Tire I was treated as if I was in a 5 star restaurant. The entire staff was friendly and Frankie treated me as if we were old friends. The price and service is good, the staff is friendly but the bald man is sooooo RUDE. Customer service is very important in any business where you are dealing with CUSTOMERS but this man does not seem to get this.

The bald, heavy-​set manager inside is a real hot-​head. He’s very rude and needs to learn manners and proper conversation etiquette. He is very cocky because of the wide variety of tires that he has in stock, and the only, in the Bayside area. Never again with this shop. Ill recommend Redline Tire & Auto @ 110 – 01 Northern Blvd.

Went there for a tire repair about a month ago. The guy didn’t take any of my information and after waiting he said it’s finished. He charged me $ 20. However, I kept having a low tire pressure after. I went to Mavis Tires and got it fixed. I asked them to see if any repair has been done on the tire. They said there was no repairs done at all.

Just doing a quick update since my last review about the runflats being repaired instead of being replaced. It’s been about year, only problem i’m having is losing little air when weather changes severely. So far so good with the job they did. I know 2 other people who had their tires just plugged like mine and they say the same with losing air once in awhile, and they got runflats repaired elsewhere in nj. Well i’ll be returning when i need new tires soon.

This would be my first time at a decent auto/​tire shop after visiting other locations in the queens area which were all overpriced and dirty. This is a good shop, professional and pleasant.

SOOOO surprised how horrible the reviews are.
I had my car from 06′ to 10′ and never want a car again. It was a super crummy car from the 80s and this place helped me so much!
They were FAST, never gave me any trouble. I had them on speed dial!
