This boutique has some really beautiful pieces, charming but expensive. I was under the impression that this store was a thrift shop (but it’s far from that). Because of the upper middle class area that its located in, I’m sure business does ok but some of the things are just silly expensive. I saw a beautiful pillow that was over $ 50 and it was very small. Obviously to be used as decoration but still. It had wonderful colors, but I’m not wasting $ 60 on that type of item. They sell antique looking items which my mother adored, as well as modern pieces that are pretty authentic to its nature.
This boutique is quite small and is kind of set up to look like sections of a home with its couches and hutches everywhere (which are for sale), wall displays, and my favorite thing which happened to be the section which displayed costume jewelry, scarves, and pocketbooks. I also fell in love with the rosy pink painted wall followed by the section next to it which had a very eye catching yellow wallpaper.
The woman, who I’m guessing is the owner/​co-​owner told us that her husband does painting, floors, valances, reupholstering, and all sorts of handy stuff. She gave us his card because he is expanding his business by bringing it to the store.
Maybe ill return when I hit the lottery but for now I’m sticking to Ikea!
