Baten John M MD

Highly, highly recommend Dr. Baten if you’re in need of an ob/​gyn! Not only did he go to The University of Florida, but he did his residency right here in Jacksonville (my hometown) at Shands (also part of UF). I think my pregnant daughter got annoyed at the lengthy discussion he and I had about UF and Jax. Haha!
He’s younger, easy on the eyes (that never hurts Hehe), easy to talk to, and has an excellent bedside manner. I SO wish he was actually in practice here in Jacksonville because I have been looking for a great gyn for years and years now. I’m still looking!
He answered all my questions I had about my daughter’s pregnancy and didn’t rush us at all. He knew I was visiting from 650 miles away and he knew it was going to take a miracle for me to get there in time once she went into labour.
When he delivered my sweet little granddaughter, Annabelle Marie, he was so patient with my daughter (and my daughter went all natural during her delivery). She couldn’t have had a better doctor.
I also love the fact he is affiliated with St. Dominick’s Hospital in Jackson, which just happens to be my hospital of choice in the area.
Two thumbs up, Dr. Baten… you’re awesome!
