Food was way too sweet. Even the steamed rice was sweet. We ordered «very spicy» online and it was still sweet/​mild. The fried rice was also just white rice mixed in soy sauce, no egg, no onion nothing to characterize it as «fried rice.» Would give 2 stars for food but will give an extra for convenience of online order, it’s a nice service.

The appetizers were pretty good, but my main dish kinda flopped when it came to flavor. I would come back for their appetizers and possibly pass on the dishes.
Try the Cream Cheese Wonton (crab ragoons) and fried wings.
We had the House Lo Mien and House Fried rice.

Seriously DELICIOUS! Not sure what the earlier post ate, but we ate in on a whim and we’re really impressed! So professional and courteous service, fast AND the owner let us sample their sesame chicken to see how it stacked up to other Chinese restaurants we’ve tried. By far the BEST! EVERYTHING WAS YUMMY! Go try them out, you won’t be disappointed :)

I have to disagree strongly with the 2 previous reviews. I have found the service to be excellent and friendly and the food delicious. I especially recommend the Goo Loo Pork. In the case of Peppermint I have to wonder what restaurant she/​he ate at after reading the comment that the chow mein was ‘meh’. Si Fu Ginger does not have chow mein on their menu however the previous owner Golden Jar that she/​he is so fond of did. Which was ‘meh’ — the one with chow mein on the menu or the one without?

This was formally Golden Jar and I have to say the previous owners made a lot tastier food. The General Tso’s definitely wasn’t as spicy and the Chow Mein was meh. The menu has a large selection of food, perhaps I should try something different? Come back, Golden Jar!

I have to admit. The worst I’ve ever had. Previous owners and menu was way better. Tried 4 times and I can’t waste any more of my money there. Will just have to travel further.
