KW Soils has been offering Level-​3 Soil Tests to the Atlanta, GA area for over ten years. A level 3 soil analysis is what is required by your local health department to obtain your septic permit. Most counties require you to get your septic permit before they will release your building permit. We will come to your property and perform a Level-​3 Soil Analysis by mapping the soils on your property by soil classification. Soil classification are the different soil series located in the different Major Land Resource Areas also known as MLRA’s. We will dig multiple holes on site in the designated area where the septic drain field will be located. After determining the different types of soils on site, we use a GPS to locate the borings, septic drain field corners, and any draws or gullies if in the septic area.
