They are way overpriced. 140 is the least you will pay after taxes. The rooms was clean however and breakfast was provided and good.

Since I live in Flowery branch, I actually have never stayed here but book rooms for family when too many come to visit, or race weeks when friends are in for Road Atlanta. I’m a hilton guy so was pumped when it was built and this is the newer building, tucked behind a lot of trees. They have clean rooms, good staff, nice breakfast area — free, and TV/Fireplace. A great Hampton! Always ask for the best rate so you can keep it either under or close to $ 100 a night– std for a Hampton as for me, their beds are to die for! For race weeks, they jack the price up so plan to hit $ 140 ish if you book late, around $ 120 if you plan ahead. For those coming off the freeway, this is kind of hard to get in and out of– so for the best easy in and back to the freeway– take it from a local. Get off the freeway and head east and immediately get in right hand lane and turn right at Subway/Gas station. Hampton is right behind it. Don’t go to the traffic light. When you come out and want to get back to the freeway, pull out of parking lot– go straight across the side road into the parking lot behind Publix and go along side publix and turn left so you come out at the light. Stay in left hand lane heading out–(you’re on a bit of a hill so careful!) and you’ll be much happier than trying to take the side road, hit a one way going east and have to make a U turn. Really is easy in and out and the corner here has all you need from Target/Kohls/TJ Max, to Chick Fil A, Chilis and a great pizza place in the Publix shopping center– Napolis. Even a liquor store Walgreens, Rite Aid… lots of business around. This is «Lake Lanier» country so you may think the area is a bit pricey but as we’ve grown over the past 30 years, Flowery Branch is fast becoming a great place to go– and only a few miles to the lake from 985. Watch for cars with boats and the local police look for seatbelts so buckle up!!! They will ticket you if they see you are not buckled up… It is law in GA.

My stay at this hotel was an up & down one. I stayed for several days & was relocated to another room in the midst of the stay. The hotel is right off of I-985& somewhat convenient to that freeway. I say somewhat because when you exit the hotel, you have to go to an intersection, make a u-turn and come back toward I-985. Not too difficult, but with traffic on a Saturday, it made it a little more difficult than one would expect. Finding the hotel was also somewhat difficult. The GPS had me drive behind the Publix but I suppose the hidden location offered less criminal activity? Who knows? Staff — Yes. Especially the front desk overnight representative named«Will». He was very instrumental & represented the hotel well with the issues I had in one of the rooms I was in. The manager, although eager, could have used a little more insight before visiting my room when I was completely exhausted from the night before. No phone calls or follow up by the manager… so I suppose the issue was not a big deal to them. Room 407 — NO! The linen was not washed. There was not only what appeared to be pubic hair on all levels of the bedding, but little green-looking worms scattered throughout the linens. I took pictures of all the digusting insects & hair droppings & discussed this with«Will». What alerted me to this was the constant scratching & itching I suffered through for a few hours before finally getting up at 2am in the morning, using my flashlight just to discover the aforementioned issues. I immediately got out of bed, showered & proceeded to talk with«Will». After explaining what I had gone through & showed the pictures, he quickly changed my room & would make a note for the manager. Room 508 — Yes. Before moving all my belongings to this room, I thoroughly inspected the linens, blankets & other sleeping materials to ensure I would not repeat the issue in room 407. After moving my belongings, I returned my keys to «Will» & thanked him for his professionalism & attentiveness to the issue. The room was clean & I had no further issues in this room. Breakfast — Yes. The breakfast selection was decent & tasted as good as one can expect from a hotel. At least I did not get food poisoning. Overall, I would have appreciated if the hotel manager would have called me before banging on my door at 8am after what I had went through the night before. I never got the opportunity to talk with the manager before leaving, so I am not pleased the hotel manager did not follow up with me before my stay ended. On top of that & even though I never asked for a refund, I was not offered anything else other than to switch rooms. If you do plan on staying at this hotel… do yourself a favor & inspect all bedding before going to sleep. The hard part is when you’ve been traveling all day & are tired, to do the due diligence & ensure you won’t be disturbed by a failure on the cleaning staff to properly clean the room.

Right off the interstate from Atlanta to the GA mountains, but still very quiet rooms. The location is great because it is very close to the interstate and right next to a plaza with a ton of places to eat when you are traveling. Extremely convenient! We visited this Hampton Inn on a trip north and found the staff to very helpful and friendly. Our room was large and quiet if a little worn, but overall very good. The lobby and pool area are very nice. Breakfast was reliably good and the staff helpful. One to remember.

I have stayed here a few times over the course of a couple of years. I usually stay here as it is the closest Hilton property to Road Atlanta. Yes, there are a few properties in Gainesville(& have tried them), but I prefer staying in the little town of Flowery Branch. Everything you need is within walking distance(Target, shopping, groceries, subway, pizza, mexican food, crappy chinese food, etc…). The Hampton is clean and exceeds the quality of many Hamptons where I have stayed. Would definitely stay again!
