History

Established in 1940.

In the early 1940s, Joe Vavra opened Vavra’s Bakery in the Casa Linda Shopping Center in Dallas, Texas. For over 30 years, it become a very popular establishment, selling delicious breads and desserts from scratch using high quality ingredients.

Casa Linda Bakery is a full line bakery, offering fresh breads, cakes, pies, cookies and many other baked goods. With over 70 years of tradition, Casa Linda Bakery is fully committed to exceptional quality and outstanding customer satisfaction.

Kind and generous, Mindy opened up another branch of the traditional bakery in Flower Mound, Texas. Wanting to carry out the tradition, she uses all the best ingredients and executes with precision. Adding a modern twist to a nearly-​century old bakery, she brings sophistication and luxury to the traditional bakery.
