History

Established in 1976.

Florham Park Hardware opened its doors in 1955 in the heart of Florham Park, NJ by Jim Dante and Bill De Angelis. In 1972, the business was sold to Peter Brennan who ran the store for 4 years. In 1976, current owner Allan Epstein purchased the business; and in 1976, started selling Amish made wooden storage sheds. For the past 35+ years, Florham Park Hardware has sold over 8,000 buildings in the tri-​state area. In 2013, Florham Park Hardware renamed their shed division to «Al’s Shed World», and continue the same great service that they have been known for.

Since 1955, Florham Park Hardware, a family owned business in the heart of Florham Park, has been a mainstay in the northern NJ community. Owner, Allan Epstein, who purchased Florham Park Hardware in 1976, carries on the Epstein family hardware legacy, which was founded in West Orange, NJ in the early 1900’s. For the past 35+ years, Florham Park Hardware has been selling Amish storage sheds, gazebos, playhouses, swing sets, pool houses, and garages in the tri-​state area. Now, proudly naming the shed division «Al’s Shed World», the business has taken on a personality of it’s own while maintaining the top-​notch service they have been known for.
