History
Established in 2011.
We began hickory smoking meats in our roadside shack in December 2011. We are here every Thursday, Friday and Saturday (closed on weekend after major holidays) until we sell out. We are a carry out only place, not a sit down restaurant, although if you are just passing through, you are welcome to sit on the porch and visit with us for a bit while you eat. Alabama Tourism’s 2014 «Quest for the Best BBQ in Alabama» winner Best Ribs category and Grand Champion for Overall Best BBQ in Alabama!

With a natural bend toward grilling, some coaching from former Jack Daniel’s BBQ Team member, Kerry Syler and a lot of trial and error, Jeff has become a pitmaster extraordinaire. His careful attention to quality and consistency coupled with his true affection for our customers has proven to be a winning combination for Smokin’ On The Boulevard. Jeff starts cooking our award winning BBQ around midnight every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
