History

Established in 1973.

Shoals MPE is comprised of area-​familiar companies: Hearn Plumbing, Tim Rhodes Electric and Hearn Heating and Air.

Hearn Plumbing was started in 1973 with Tim Rhodes Electric following suit in 1976. These companies joined forces in 2007 and are now called Shoals MPE, which specialize in all facets of HVAC, plumbing and electrical.

As a family-​owned business Shoals MPE prides itself in running a family-​oriented operation. The company combined employs approximately ninety (90) people which consist of seven estimators, two general foreman, a CFO, three clerical staff members, two shop personnel and the remaining members in the field: 22 are mechanical trade (heating and cooling), 23 are plumbing trade and 45 are electric trade.

Shoals MPE maintains a fleet of 58 vehicles, services a 60 square mile radius of the Shoals, and its portfolio includes service, residential, commercial and light industrial work offering on-​call service seven days a week, twenty-​four hours a day.
