Laid Back Burger Shack is spectacular. I have had both the bacon cheeseburger and the Varner burger (bacon, cheddar, BBQ sauce, and ranch dressing) and both are absolutely great burgers. The fries are always hot and fresh, and I love the homemade banana pudding. Not only are these the best burgers in Florence, but some of the best in the Jackson area!

Laid Back has excellent burgers. Their shrimp po-​boys are fine too. It takes a little time to get your food but that’s because they don’t cook it until you order it. Very Yummy!

This place is a GREAT place for a burger and wings– they have a lot more on the menu. All ingredients are fresh and food is cooked to order. You need to stop by and check it out. The burgers are better than you can get at the burger restaurant in Flowood that claims so many awards.

I have been eying this place every time I visit my friend Chris that lives in Florence. I finally got a chance to grab a burger.
We rolled in and ordered up 2 Fiery Jalapeño burgers… I love a place that has a good hot burger.
I also love a place that does not ask how I want my burger cooked.
These guys got it right on both counts. ½ pound of fresh meat, not over seasoned on a flat-​top toasted white bun.
The Jalapeño Mayo and spicy peppers make a nice combo.
I ordered Sweet Potato fries and was super full when I left. Burger was cooked to perfection and it was a cool spot.
