Donny was a absolute fantastic help into getting me into the correct car that is not only practical but a fantastic find! I would recommend going to see him for any car needs as well as the entire staff was a great help!

As usual, this review will be broken up into two parts and updated as time goes on and more information becomes available.
SALES:
This is my second time coming to this location. Just like my last experience, sales was phenomenal. I worked with Donné Moran. He went WAY out of his way to put me back in another vehicle that suited me. The process was long and drawn out, but it was also a very complicated process that required them to essentially take a hit as a dealer and heavily discount a car so to what’s known as an insurance rollover. There were multiple issues with the vehicle I purchased which Donné had assured me service would assist me.
***i would also like to note that the vehicle purchased was a 2006 Pontiac G6. Vehicle was purchased for roughly $ 10,000 with a 21.0% interest rate slammed on top. Being a recurring customer that was always on time with my payments, this was a bit disturbing. According to
, this SAME vehicle runs for roughly $ 8,000. When this was brought up to them, I simply got «we are a second chance lender». Being a second chance lender does not mean they have the right to overcharge on vehicles. Consumers should be affected by second chance lenders with high interest rates (which I have). NOT high vehicle pricing.
SERVICE:
In the past we had MULTIPLE problems while dealing with the service department, from work being done partially to work that should be covered under warranty just simply NOT being covered. All of that can be read on my previous review when I purchased my 2006 Mazda3. Moving forward to the new selection, the 2006 Pontiac G6. Here are the following issues this vehicle has, and I have not even left the lot. As added above, Donné said service would do their best to assist me, which gave me the reassurance I needed to continue with the buying process.
Issues:
— cruise control does not work
* service said this was not covered under warranty this will not be fixed under such BUT they can give me a price to have it fixed
— Brake lights illuminate while not pressed.
— Left side speakers do not work
* service said this was not covered under warranty this will not be fixed under such BUT they can give me a price to have it done.
I also made an appointment on power steering because there was a little bit of play and after research, power steering failure is a common issue with these cars.
So, after the breakdown of everything, I purchased the car for $ 10,000 and they are refusing to fix two of the things that help the car with value. They boast about quality cars and service all the time, this doesn’t seem very high quality. It does seem that I’ll be starting yet another 24,000 mile long journey with JD Byrider service as I had with the Mazda. As I stated earlier, I will update this accordingly as time goes on. If they decide to fix the issues, I will notate that on the review. If they do not, that will also be noted.
Rating:
SALES: ⁴⁄₅ (simply because the car way waaaay overpriced)
SERVICE: ¹⁄₅ (they are willing to fix some issues but not all issues with the car PRIOR to purchase)
SUMMARY
Sales was great but proceed with caution when purchasing a vehicle, service does not seem very helpful, even with their supposed «inspection» that they boast about.

When I purchased the car on 5÷10÷2016, I had an issue with the brake lights staying illuminated while not pressed and cruise control not working. So I brought it to Service to be checked out. They tried replacing the brake switch twice with no luck. Then after what seemed like hours of research, they figured out that the BCM was bad. I got in there at 9am. Left around 5pm. It took them MUCH longer than a usual service center to locate this issue which is a little aggravating. To add to my aggravation, there were a couple times where they put my car outside without notifying me what they were doing which made it seem as if they were giving up on the project all together. If I could ask for one thing, it is to always be in the know about the status of my vehicle while I’m in a shop for more than 2 hours consecutively.
After being there for 8 hours with my car still not repaired, I got antsy. I needed to get to work in less than 6 hours. I went to Corey Powell who heard me out on the situation an understood that I had JUST purchased this car 24 hours before and that this should not have even been an issue. He was able to set me up with a way home and a way to work and back to the shop the next day to pick up my car when it was finally done.
When I picked up my car Terry told me that they went ahead and replaced my battery along with the BCM and also the tech let me know that the cruise control now works! After two days, I have my car! Aside from the other issues that I had to make appointments for, so far it’s working great!

My husband and I tend to keep cars for decades so we don’t deal with dealerships often. My husband went to the website to look at cars and in less than 18 hours we have been called 5 times, including one call at 8:30 AM.
One call with a message would be sufficient. If a customer wants to get back to you, they will. Five calls tells me that you aren’t professional and are a bit desperate.

Boyfriend needed a car and my goodness, they had a great one for his needs. There was plenty to chose from, a good variety of cars, makes, models… including gas-​sipping cars like Toyota, Honda and Kia mixed in with solid American choices like Ford, Buick, Chevy.
This family run business has more than 40 years history. I think generation two is doing the day to day stuff with their lovely girrly Dachshund.
Boyfriend tested three cars on the lot… Toyota, Kia and then a Buick. Being a taller guy who is planning to drive for Über … the burgundy with gray interior Buick Rendevous he found was a great selection, and certainly ready to drive whenever he wants to take others where they want to go.
This famy business procures cars at auction, fixes them up with a local mechanic at about ¹⁄₃ the price of dealership labor, and offers them for sale just off of Dixie Highway in Florence/​Erlanger. The cars are sold for their asking price, with a set down payment, and financed (zero interest) the rest of the way though their company.
Very easy going about test drives, nice people. Easy terms.

Terry in service had always helped me out. He knows cars and always makes sure my car is safe to drive and gets me in quickly

I’d give them zero stars if I had the option. They have had my son’s car for almost a month! They have given him the run around on fixing the car and he still doesn’t have it back! When a kid trusts the place he bought the car from, has to make a living (meaning he has to get to work somehow) and support 3 babies– and when the dealership/​service dept. has had the car in their shop for over 3 weeks, you’d think there’d be some urgency in getting the job done as well as better communication. I feel they overcharged him for the car and they are worthless as a place I’d take my car to have work done on it– but when you have a «warranty» through them– you have little choice. I DO NOT recommend you buy a car from them or use them for servicing your car. Ever. Since I have many teacher friends, I will be sure to pass along the run-​around they’ve given my son and my opinion of this «business».

Yes I’m very disappointed because of the fact that JD told us that they put so much money into the cars they sale but I only had my car for a month and having issues, our electrical system is messed up, they say normally they Dont cover it but they will this time. Well the catch is they have to keep it for 3 days so how they expect my wife and I to get to work and pay the bill if they keep it, its not like they’re giving us a backup car or a rental. Pissed now because would of I have my kids riding which I do and all the gauges decides to stop again. I wasn’t trying give a star but since I have too

It’s been many years since I’ve dealt with these guys, but from what I hear, it’s still the same ol’ JD Byrider. They prey on people with credit issues that think they can’t go to a «real» dealership. Then again, Byrider fools them into thinking that they are a «real» dealership. It’s a glorified buy-​here pay-​here lot. They sell crap cars and aren’t upfront with what you will be paying over the life of your loan. They wow you with a low down payment and then they wait for you to sign on the dotted line. My mom purchased an S-​10 pickup truck back in the late ‘90s. It needed a transmission within 1000 miles and the entire underside of the truck was rusted out. $ 8000 for a piece of crap that was 11 years old. You live and learn. I’ve learned never to deal with these guys.

They don’t have very many cars that you would really want to choose from. I got lucky and got a 2002 hinda accord, but… I haven’t had the car for a year and already have gotten a new engine and it needs a new transmisson, luckily it is still under warrenty and this does not cost me anything, but they should have resovled this before even putting the vehicle on their lot… all this aside it is the place to go if you have no or bad credit and/​or if you have very little money to put down on the car but they will overcharge you for the vehicle.
