Super nice employees, Nick was especially helpful. Store is well-lit, clean and organized.

When you need to pick up that 1 gadget/tool/bit/etc that you know you’ll only use for this project then Harbor Freight is where you need to shop! The quality is decent, but don’t expect a life-time of use from their tools. When the place is slower you can get help finding something in the shop, if you know what you want. But don’t expect help with how to complete your project from their staff like you might find at another hardware store.

Prices on Harbor freight Super prices. first of all I bought a buffing wheel cloth to buff my BMW. I first went to Pep Boys I paid over $ 20. Someone told me to goto Habor Freight. They said«it is cheaper».So I did and guess what, It was. I only paid $ 6. I saved $ 14. What a rip off for the exactly same item. I will never ever shop a Pep Boy. Thanks Habor Freight for saving me some money.

This is the best place to start a project! Prices are amazing! The coaster wheel selection is fabulous, and stocking up on odds and ends is so affordable. We have put together quit a few science projects here and let me tell you… they worked great. Also, the variety of off the wall stuff you never knew where to find… is here. The staff is friendly and the quality is good. If you don’t recognize the brand names it is because you aren’t a professional and you don’t know what your looking at. This is one of my favorite stores to shop in… really it’s that much fun.

Admittedly, I’m not very handy. I know the difference between a flathead and a Phillips-head and that’s about it. So browsing the large showroom of Harbor Freight Tools, I confess that I didn’t know what many of the tools are used for. But I can spot poorly manufactured goods a mile away, and here my junk radar was in overdrive. There aren’t any name-brands here; tools are made by some anonymous or never-heard-of-before companies. The strangest item I saw was an electrified fly swatter that would zap bugs as soon as they hit the metal mesh of the swatter. But at $ 3.29, I was afraid the insects wouldn’t be the only ones getting electrocuted. I guess if you had a one-off project and didn’t want to spend a lot of money on a tool you’ll only use once, Harbor Freight is the place to go. But if you’re looking for quality tools to last years to come, just drive on by this discount tool shop.
