Orange beef is amazing! It simply melts in your mouth. Angel blossoms are the icing to the cake. I’m trying everything on the menu.

I really like Chen’s Bistro — my family has been coming here for years, and it’s a nice upgrade from the much smaller«to-go» Chen’s located in the Fry’s strip mall on Bella Vista & Hunt. The atmosphere here is a little nicer, relaxed and not too noisy. All the usual Chinese food options here and then some. Some of my favorites include orange beef, lemon chicken, kung pao beef, Mongolian beef, Sichuan chicken and General Tso’s chicken. My newest discovery are the Singapore rice noodles — AMAZING! Good starters here include their angel blossoms(crab angels), egg rolls and pot stickers. They offer beer, wine and cocktails, as well as fountain drinks and tea. The Tsing Tao beer is pretty good — I usually enjoy one or two of these with dinner when I’m here. Service has always been prompt and the staff here are very friendly. Although you don’t expect this here, you can also make reservations for larger parties — something that isn’t very clear, but good to know.

I was excited to try this place, but found it lacking. I was looking for great Chinese, but what I found was very mediocre. I won’t be going back.

I love this place! It’s my favorite Chinese food restaurant. The service is always great and the food is consistently tasty and relatively inexpensive. Enjoy!

Orange chicken(my favorite) didn’t have the pepper flakes added in the sauce. Believe me, I know people say orange chicken isn’t spicy. And I agree, but they literally forgot to add any pepper flakes in the sauce. How does that happen? It was AWFUL. I’ve been to many Chen’s and this was the worst. Service was OK and the place need to be wiped down something fierce. At first sip of my water, I realized they don’t have filtered water; it’s straight out of the tap. Couldn’t even wash down the bland, strange tasting orange chicken out of my mouth. I couldn’t wait to get out of there! The Chen’s in San Tan Valley is the place I’ll be headed to! See ya there!

Great Chinese food. Calling for take out is easy and ready when you come pick it up.

Good food with many choices. The Lemon Chicken is very good as is the Cashew Chicken. Very nice place, moderately priced. The service is good with a little difficulty understanding the wait staff.

My girlfriend & I went there for dinner last night, actually my 1st time there! I was pleasantly surprised at the size, décor, cleanliness & how fast the service was! I ordered General Tso’s chicken and it was fabulous, best I’ve ever eaten! Looking forward to going back!!!

Nice atmosphere as soon as you walk in the door. I ordered orange chicken, which wasn’t as great as others but ok the only thing I didn’t like was the lady who took my order spoke very softly and her English wasn’t that good. I feel if you’re going to be in customer service present yourself better with eye contact and fluent English. The other thing I didn’t like was the rice. I ordered fried rice, but when I got it, it was hard to tell was it fried or white. It was something in between. Oh well. This was my first time there so maybe next time I’ll try something else.

Staff was friendly and quick to help. Wonton soup was amazing. Not too pricey. I was able to feed my family of 5 with the meal deals for under $ 60. The location was convenient enough. I should have stopped here then went down the strip mall for a manicure instead of sitting and waiting 15 min for food. Next time I will plan better!

Although I like the food, its got good flavor and I enjoy it, the service has always been disappointing for me. I always feel rushed in decision making ! They always seem to get things wrong because of their pushy attitudes! I only eat there because we live so far out and there isn’t any other good Chinese places around! So if your all about the food and taste it is a ‘go’ but if you are about the service, I would pass!

Went here tonight with the family and were hopeful for but not expecting«great» food. We were all pleasantly surprised and each of us enjoyed our meals. We couldn’t decide on an appetizer so went with the pupu platter which ended up being pretty fantastic! We just moved into the Anthem development and are very happy to find a good Chinese restaurant right around the corner. We’ll definitely be back!

I live in Anthem and eat often at Chens. The servers know what I want as soon as I walk in the door. You can’t beat their lunches and even serve them on Sunday. I love their Kung Pou Chicken but I ask for extra heat and they always come thru. Great service, food and price plus it’s always clean

I have never been out to Coolidge, and before going out for lunch, I looked up restaurants in the area. The service was not the greatest, but I got the food I ordered pretty quickly considering I was on a time crunch. The honey walnut shrimp is not the greatest I have tried, but it is also not the worse.

Food hot. However, that’s about all I can say about the quality of the food, that’s positive. I ordered several dishes for takeout. All were of average quality.

Oh dear. This was so disappointing. The ladies don’t speak enough English to get an order correct. The food is very bland. I’ve tried them numerous times. Always a mistake with my take out food.

On our drive to Tucson(yes, we took the long way. more scenic) we stopped by. it was the only place en-route that seemed to have consistently decent reviews. The place is easily found, clean and is well staffed with nice folks. I had the cashew chicken and was a bit put off when it showed up with corn in it. it seemed like an obvious«filler»… oh well, I guess. The flavor was meh… i think it was missing garlic, ginger. tastes that engage your senses. this did not engage anything. At least we gave it a shot!

Kung Pao Wow! I was in Florence educating a very dysfunctional management staff at the Pinal County Jail. I stopped in Chens for bite and was blown away! When handed the menu I asked the waitress to have the chef surprise me. I got Kung Pao Lobster with sizzling rice that was out of this world. This is what dreams are made of.
