Note: I work here, so I’m not reviewing the service, just letting you all know what we have going on. WEDONOTHAVE A HEALTHANDFITNESSCENTERANYMORE. Nor do we have a coffee shop, childcare, or a summer camp. We have Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Emergency Response services(if you’re at the hospital, doctor’s office, police department, school, etc, we can come and help you through the stressful situation; ask whoever the service personnel is to call 238-SAFE to get our ERT(emergency response team) to respond. We’ll be there within an hour. We have Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault counseling available. We do not have therapy. Therapy is different than short term empowerment-based counseling. We can make referrals, though. We have a Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault SafeHouse shelter available to victims and survivors of these crimes. If you are in need of just shelter because you are homeless, we will refer you to the right place. We have recently began a new program called Nina’s Place, which is for young women 18 – 21 who are aging out of foster care. If this is your situation, then call our number and ask for more information. For previous and current clients we have a donation room available for shopping. Our services are available to women, men, gay, straight, bi, trans, people of any faith, creed, color, political persuasion, height or weight.
