Super 8 Flint / Bishop Airport

The room and the bathroom was clean, the air worked, but the outlets in the room did not. For example the outlet next to the bed, the bottom socket worked, the top did not. No soap or shampoo in the bathroom. It’s ok if you just need a room for the night. Nothing more

THE LOCATION
The hotel is located just off Miller Road near I-​75. There are a good number of restaurants on Miller Road. The hotel has a smaller parking lot.
CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST
Includes danishes, instant oatmeal, fruit, cereal, bagels, yogurt, waffles, milk, coffee and juice. (But we would never eat any of it after seeing the condition of this hotel!)
THE AMENITIES
There are none.
THE ROOMS.
They have a microwave, frige, tv (which didn’t work) and coffee maker (when was that last cleaned?). The décor is REALLY DATED just like the hotel & DIRTY!!!
They are DIRTY, DISGUSTING AND SO UNCOMFORTABLE!!! We were afraid to sleep and had our kids and ourselves sleep in our clothes!!! We couldn’t wait to leave!!! The hallways smelled like urine and were filthy! The door on our room was messed up, had a huge gap mid way down to the floor! Didn’t feel safe at all at this hotel.
THE STAFF
The night staff was not friendly (blond girl) and she was talking on the phone with someone and I had to wait for her to get done in order to check in! Not to mention she was talking about gun shots she heard the other day while working! The day lady (manager) was very kind and friendly.
THE MISCELLANEOUS
Door keys had to be entered and removed at just the right speed to get the green light to come on (read that this was a problem for others too).
Doors were slamming all night, men were going in and out of rooms all night, I have no idea what was going on at this hotel!!!
PLEASE SEE PHOTOS I TOOK IN JANUARY 2015 and judge for yourself before you stay! I will NEVER stay her again! It may be cheap but that is for a reason!!!

The grout in our bathroom could sustain a small ecosystem of single cell organisms, mold, and disease. The bathroom itself was probably the location for no less than 3 murders. The hallways look and smell like piss. The front desk guy at nights was serial killer creepy, and the free breakfast was waffles.
I am 90% sure that all 3 of the other guests we saw in our brief stay were high on meth.

I don’t believe that there is a pool, fitness room or business center. If there is, sorry but I really didn’t see them.
THE ROOMS.
The comes with a microwave, dormitory sized frig, tv and coffee maker. The décor could use some updating however the room wasn’t necessarily uncomfortable.
THE STAFF
The staff was very friendly. Check in and Check out was quick and easy.
THE MISCELLANEOUS
We had to ask the front desk for the iron; we were told that there was only 1 iron and no ironing board. Also, the door keys had to be entered and removed at just the right speed to get the green light to come on. Maybe that was just our door/​keys.
For the price, I guess I could stay here again… after all it did serve the purpose of having a place to sleep and this wasn’t really a vacation.

Not the cleanest hotel. Bathroom especially looks old and smells. Toilet was leaking water from the bottom and leaving big puddles on the floor after flushing. I called the front desk and the lady was rude about it. Had an attitude and wouldn’t do anything about it nor move us to another room as she said there were no other ones available. We ended up throwing a bunch of towels on the floor to mop up the toilet water. Pretty gross.

Not too bad. The room wasn’t dirty. The bed was super comfortable but the bathroom was kinda nasty. The tub looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in months and the sink is somewhat clogged.
