Sherman’s Lounge

The drinks are poured with a heavy hand. The sandwiches are excellent on the homemade bread. The pizza had homemade sauce and tooooooo of the line meats. Sherman’s Lounge is very clean, the entertainment is the best in the area, with a wide variety of the top bands 3 nights a week. They cater to the 30 –60 year old crowd, but everyone is welcome. If you like to dance and listen to good music, this is the place to be.

I love Sherman’s! It’s one of the few family-​owned bars left around and you can tell in the atmosphere, it has been in the family for generations! It has all the necessities of a great bar; strong drinks, great food and an awesome dance floor and stage! Shermans is also a place where you can see great live music; the owners only hire the best and it’s obvious they don’t cheap out on it! Shermans is the best! Flint town!!! ;)

I go here a lot. I love to dance and they always seem to have great bands that get me and my man on the dance floor. Great service too!

The live music wasn’t so bad but the owner smoking in the facility was horrible. I guess he doesn’t allow other people to smoke in here but he still does. I had to send my first drink back because it tasted awful (bar rescue please visit here) and the second one back because there was a huge bug in my drink. If my amazing friends wouldn’t have been with me the experience would have been horrible and smoky. Since they were there and we still had a great time, I will give them a 2star.

They have live music on weekends and the place is packed. I only go for Karaōke. They finally got rid of their regular host. She was getting terrible at hosting. Then they had Bear who really did a pretty good job. Now they got Josh. Who is an arrogant ass is rude and seems to have a difficult time running the board. Sounds like an echo chamber. The one male bartender is pretty good. The girls while most look good are too busy with themselves and their own issues to actually take care of the customers. Ordered food one time. undercooked and have never ordered again. Was there on a Karaōke contest finals night. after being there almost an hour without service and bringing friends. Had the last ones to show pick me up a one liter at the store on the way in. As soon as they got there I pulled the bottle out to drink it. and all of a sudden a waitress appeared. But, looking at the service in Flint this is another bar that seems to not really care about staying in business. The interior is dark don’t know what the aversion is to having bars in Flint being so dark you can’t see the chair in front of ya. or read the menu’s if they have one.
