History
Established in 1994.
For more than 30 years, Regional Medical Imaging has provided superior imaging services to physicians and patients throughout mid-Michigan. We strive to enhance the health and wellness of patients not only by providing affordable, high-quality imaging, but by providing it with care.
We have the technology and expert clinical staff to offer a full range of diagnostic and interventional radiology modalities, including bone densitometry (DEXA); breast MRI; cryoablation; CT; fluoroscopy; foreign body removal; image-guided biopsy and drainage; mammography; MRI; nuclear medicine; PET/CT; spine and pain management procedures; ultrasound; vascular access and interventions; and X-ray.
Just as importantly, give patients the personal attention and respect they deserve in a convenient, clean, and comfortable setting. Every RMI staff member, from the front desk to our technologists and radiologists, will bend over backwards to make every patient feel like a special guest.

Business Owner
Dr. Hicks, co-owner and CEO of RMI, is a distinguished expert on women’s imaging who has co-authored several medical journal articles on topics related to imaging for breast cancer. He also has special interests and expertise in parathyroid and thyroid imaging and in interventional breast biopsy procedure and product development.
As a committed advocate for women’s healthcare, especially in the domain of breast cancer prevention, early detection, and treatment, Dr. Hicks has worked closely with colleagues in the medical community to encourage multidisciplinary, best-practice approaches to care. This has included such efforts as collaborating to establish local tumor boards that bring together the expertise of radiologists, surgeons, oncologists, and other physicians from major health systems and leading practices in the region.
He has also served as a thought leader and spokesperson for the role of information technology in enhancing the quality and efficiency of health care.
