Lakeside Getaway

Our family goes to the Lakeside Getaway 3 – 4 times a year and this is the only place we will stay. Very family oriented place to stay. The rooms are always so clean and nice and Ronnie & Dave always make sure you have what you need and always make you feel comfortable. In the mornings Angie comes and cleans your room, changes the sheets and leaves you towels if you need them. We’ve never had any complaints about the Lakeside Getaway, it’s our home away from home. They have a fishing pier to fish from, has lights and a bench and you will catch a fish from there. The boat dock is perfect, we never have any problems putting our boat (22′ Pontoon) in the water. They have a porch that is so nice to sit and visit and a view of the lake. They have bar-​b-​que pits all over the place, which is so nice, also a picnic area with several picnic tables with a BIG bar-​b-​que pit. All in all, if you’re looking for a place to stay on Lake Palestine with a perfect view and all the ammenities that you would want, Lakeside Getaway is where you need to go.
