John’s Tailoring & Alterations

First impression:
At first I thought this would be like many tailors I have visited where the owner is abrasive, has a thick accent, and just wants you to pay up and leave. I was mistaken (minus the thick accent part). The location itself could be considered a bit «janky» but honestly, it adds to the character of the place.
What I thought:
The owner is extremely helpful and friendly. He even gave my friend a few tips about wearing a suit. He is a bit of a chatty person but not in a creepy way. It is about 10 bucks to hem pants wich isn’t bad for next day service. My (former) tailor in Flint charged me less but his attitude alone is enough to get me to ay a couple extra dollars for better, friendlier, service.
My recommendation:
Of the two places I have been for tailor services, this is the best. Don’t be a rude customer and you will be treated very well.
