We were driving from MI to Cincinnati and were hungry. We’d never been to Halo Burger before, so we decided to try it! We both enjoyed the food very much: o) Hubby ordered the olive burger. Hey, it was very original and screamed, «TRYME!!!» The signage said that the meat is fresh(never frozen) and the patties are hand-made. So they are lightly shaped and not pressed flat. It made for a fluffier burger that was delish! I actually ordered a cheese burger, but I ended up with an olive burger by mistake. That was fine because it was very tasty! If I went back, I would definitely order the olive burger. I was afraid that it would be too salty, since olives are brined. But it was just right! I liked that they cooked them to order, so you choose the condiments and sauces that they put on your burger. Mine came as I like it — no mayo or ketchup. We shared an order of fries that were cut a bit thicker than McD’s. What I liked about Halo’s fries was that they were hot! It was also nice that the order taker suggested a meal to save us a bit of money. That is customer service: o) The tables were clean and there were t.v.‘s too! First time I’ve seen that in a fast food restaurant. Would stop here again!

Great service– manager took our order, made great suggestions, and treated is very well. I ordered the mushroom and Swiss with a Boston cooler Shake. The shake is a little thin, but I love the flavor. I will return.

Awesome burgers. Fast and friendly service. I had one of their limited edition black angus burgers. This is a fast food place but the quality is much better than the competition.

The«low tire pressure» warning suddenly lights up on my car. I’m on I-75 heading south in the armpit of America and far from home. Anxiety permeates. I pull off the nearest exit and screech into the nearest tire store. The tire is nearly flat. I’m scared and, worse, hungry in a foreign land. I see a Halo Burger across the street and hesitantly enter. I order and get the best damn hamburger and fries I’ve eaten in a while. Better than 5 Guys and less money too. The meat tasted like real beef with tasty cheese, cold crispy crunchy onions/lettuce, great pickles, all on an unobtrusive soft bun that formed to the burger. It was like an old fashioned burger. The fries were really good too. Totally blew away my expectations. The total Double Beef and Cheese combo meal was around $ 7 and included a Vernors. It won’t take a flat tire to get me here again.

Food was decent service was beyond slow and terrible. After waiting which seemed an eternity they still got order wrong and had to wait even longer for food. Once order was corrected and sat down to eat the burger was actually pretty good but nothing I would return back to.

Supreme Deluxe with Cheese and Olives, that’s what you’re looking for. Halo Burger has consistently been the best fast food burger you’ll find anywhere as long as I can remember. They cook the burgers fresh, not from frozen hockey pucks, ya know, they’ve pretty much been playing five guys and smashburger’s game for close to a century. Quality meat, cooked fresh, combined with fresh toppings, what more could you want from a burger?

Definitely the best fast food burger and possibly the best burger in Michigan. Try it Deluxe with Olives and you won’t regret it!

i’m definitely a fan. it’s a great after drinking spot if you’re up for a good burger. my buddy said it’s better with olives, but i opted out of that. i’m not a huge olive fan, especially not on burgers. it was a monster sized burger. messy. and delicious. i loved every bite too. halo is a must try coming up to michigan, and it’s better than whataburger imo.
