Custom Ink & Steel

After getting bumped from my time slot at another prominent shop in town (spent 6 months on a list to have the artist cancel day of) I was lucky enough to discover Jerad at Custom Ink & Steel. He took my ideas, put them to paper and then expertly on my skin. He was professional, easy to get along with and a great artist! I have alot of ink and he put on me one of my favorite pieces Ive had the pleasure of getting. Im heading back there to see him again soon!

I’ve had several tattoos and piercings done at various places but this place is the best! It’s so clean and everyone is so welcoming.
Jordyn did my nostril piercing and he rocks! He’s professional and explains thoroughly.

The shop itself was really clean an professional looking. My appointment was with TJ. He listened to what I wanted and worked with me to expand the idea of my tattoo. Offered suggestions and was quite nice. Over all I will go back to TJ at custom.

I went to another (well known) tattoo shop in the area and I ended up absolutely hating my entire experience there, so much that it discouraged me a little bit making me wonder if I ever wanted to step foot into another shop again. I went into Custom Ink & Steel to get my nose pierced and was completely surprised by the atmosphere in this shop, the staff was so welcoming and willing to help. I have now received 2 tattoos from Evan Oslund he does AMAZING work, he is also very friendly and talks to you the whole time, which is a big plus in my opinion. I cant imagine going anywhere else to get tattooed.

Went in the other day to get the flat disc on my dermal anchor switched out for a top with a gem. I was slightly wary because I’m very loyal to my home piercer back in Texas, but when a friend here highly recommended Dorian, I had to set up an appointment.
When I got in the shop, Dorian and another man were both busy explaining things to other guests. I didn’t mind waiting because I was eavesdropping on Dorian explaining, in amazing detail, how the sterilisation/​cleaning and piercing processes worked at the shop. He was very thorough and made sure everything was clear to the guests and it was honestly impressive how professional and informed he was from his presentation.
He was very knowledgeable about their jewellery and he’s such a great salesperson I need to THANK him for letting me walk out of there with twice as much jewellery than I’d planned on buying.
When it came to fixing up my arm, Dorian was incredibly fast and gentle and he communicated with me the entire time so I understood everything he was doing as it was happening. It’s been a couple days and my anchor is absolutely fine; there has been no swelling, no irritation, no infection, absolutely no issues at all. If I didn’t have an adorable opal gem at my arm, I’d question whether he even messed with it at all!
