I am going to stay with my tiny, town library going forward. Don’t patronize the county library. The atmosphere is cold and unwelcoming; so is the staff. They’re rude in person and on the phone. Unless you have your library card number memorized, don’t bother trying to re-​new a book over the phone. That’s what you are to this place: a number, a dollar sign (expect exorbitant fees.) Steer clear.
