This is the second time I have used Hikmet and Blue Dream Pool to do work on my in ground gunite pool. As usual he and his team have done excellent work. The first round of work done about 6 years ago was the replacement of old tile and coping that was dated to a new brick style coping. They did an excellent job back then and the work held up well so when we decided that we wanted to redo the entire backyard replacing the concrete, installing a spillover spa, redoing the plumbing and replacing pretty much every part of the system we immediately called Hikmet.
I am extremely pleased with the quality of the work that was done and look forward to continuing to work with Hikmet in the future. He is a honest and hard working guy that is easy to work with. If you are in need of any type of pool work to be done I would highly recommend HIkmet and his company Blue Dream Pool to get the job done right.

Hikmet and his guys did a complete renovation of our 40 year old gunite pool. The overall cost has been $$$$ less for a competitive estimates from other companies. The coping, tiles and plaster were all replaced with deep blue natural stones, glass tiles for my spa and diamond brite finish plaster for less than 3 weeks. I’m just lucky to use my pool before official summer started. A company that is more than awesome, reliable, with descent work ethics and true to their words. They’ve given freebies too which I didn’t expect, diving board got tiled and pressure pumps tested and replaced. I am sincere with this review and glad to spent my money wisely with warranty. I will be switching service with them opening and closing my pool. Thank you Hikmet & guys from the bottom of my heart.

Blue Dream pools did an incredible job replacing two return lines in our pool that were damaged by another contractor. They were the fourth pool company we called for an estimate. They also repaired our pool liner when all other companies said it could not be done and wanted to charge us for a new liner. We felt so comfortable with their work we decided to purchase a new pool filter based on their recommendations and they installed it. They are competitively priced and reliable. They performed the work when they said they would. We are very happy with the work. We will use them again.

Before we had Blue Dream Pools/​Hikment refinish our pool, I looked online for comments and I must admit that they were mixed but there were mixed reviews about most pool companies. Yes, they started to project later than promised (resurfacing, replumbing, new coping)), and it took much longer than promised, not because of the amount of work but there were weeks at a time when there would be no one working on the pool. When they were done, the pool looked beautiful, it really did but then we realized that something that had not had a problem before now did! At this point there was nothing that they could do about it. Strike one. When we opened the pool for the following season at least a third of the tiles were now at the bottom of the pool. To his credit, he came back and fixed them. Year to when we opened the pool at least a third of the tiles were at the bottom of the pool (yes again). To his credit, he came back and had another company reinstall them. After opening the pool the third year… well, you can guess where the tiles were, and to his credit he came back to fix them AGAIN! These past couple of years the tiles are still there but the grout between the coping and the tiles has come off in large chunks. We don’t even bother to call any more because… well.

After using several different pool companies for service, my husband and I decided to go with Blue Dream Pools to have our liner replaced. The owner, Hikmet, personally came and provided us with a timeline and details on what will be done. After that was installed, we also had them install a safety cover. It’s been several years and we still use them for opening and closing the pool. Alll the jobs are lead by Korkmaz, who is very professional and completes the job with no issues. They are also always very prompt in returning emails or phone calls. I highly recommend this company.

I had Blue dream replaster and retile my pool. I have had a very positive experience. They also created a retaining wall and fixed/​stabilize all of my pool filter equipment that was on a mountain incline. This was a very difficult job and they did excellent work. I recommend them highly! They breathed brand new life into my 20 year old pool. –Nigel

The worst !!!
Don’t be fooled by the owners promises he’ll forget your name once the last check is deposited.
Blue Dream built my pool 5 years ago and it’s been nothing but a nightmare. Pool leaks, concreate heaving, retaining wall failure the list goes on.
I’m spending thousands having their mistakes fixed.
Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere, his cheap cost is just that CHEAP !

I had all new brick and tile installed in my pool about 3 years ago. During Hurricane Sandy an umbrella stand crashed into the brick and broke 9 bricks. I called Blue Dream Pools to see if I could get it repaired exactly like it was because the workmanship was impressive. Blue Dream Pools sent a guy the next morning for the repair. He removed the damaged brick, cut new ones and made sure everything was very level. The 9 bricks were cut well and match. The grout is lighter but it’s also newer. He was extremely neat not to get cement or debris in the pool or on my patio. He cleaned up very well. I read the other reviews here and am sorry they had a bad experience but I thought the workmanship was high quality.

Steer clear! I hired Blue Dream to do pool retiling and replastering. Lots of talk but they wouldn’t produce proof of insurance or schedule a start date — but they did find time to cash my deposit checks. Lots of other well qualified companies to choose from, no need to do business with these folks.
