We found this place while at a retreat we had organized, when looking for a place that would prepare food for 40 people. They managed to put together a great menu in an hour and were extremely nice and helpful. The food was delicious and the portions are large, amazing value for money! If you are in the area, you should definitely pay it a visit!

Also found this while on a ski trip. Holy crap, never have I been served such a large plate of food. Seriously. Great value for the $. Share plates. Very kind service, very dead town, at least during the winter. Gave us free flan. Food decent, mostly a great find for the area.

Found this place while staying in town for a ski trip to Belleayre. Was immediately taken by Mi Lupita’s authenticity. You know when a Mexican restaurant had a Mexican grocery in the front, it’s a good sign. And especially when across the street is your typical tex mex joint(with bad Unilocal reviews) Mi Lupita’a food is outstanding. A pretty standard menu but the ingredients and preparation was top notch. Easily as good as the traditional Mexican restaurants in NYC — and Mexico City. But because it’s in the middle if nowhere, that makes it so much better One thing — they don’t serve liquor. They ahold have their wine and beer license soon though. So if you want a margarita go across the street. Then come to Mi Lupita’s for some terrific Mexican food.

Nice little treasure! We found this little place and at first, didn’t want to go in because the front portion of the shop with it’s speed racks filled with mexican sweets blocked our view of the cute little café behind the grocery. The owners were very nice and the food was very tasty. We had the tacos with chorizo and potatoes and the quesadilla with pumpkin blossoms. As we sat eating our food, with the music in the background, we felt that we were in Oaxaca!
