Don’t let the parking lot fool you. Lena is so personable and she helped take 10 years of boring hair color and style away. The ladies are talented and they make us go back to being and feeling pretty!

My daughter who has never really had a haircut besides a trim here and there decided it was time for a new cut to enter into high school. We made an appointment with Natalie. When we got there ONTIME, the lady at the desk said Natalie just took a walk-in and will be with us shortly, she is blow-drying the customers hair now. I looked, it was short hair so I thought«how long can that take?» 30MINUTES later, I can’t believe she is still blow-drying the same lady’s hair! I started to get angry and talking rather loudly and complaining about how we made an appointment and we still had to wait longer than any other walk-in hair salon. Finally, my daughter got called into the«booth» to get her hair cut. It took this lady LESS than 30 minutes to wash, cut and blow-dry my daughter’s hair. She made choppy cuts and my daughter was not happy at all. I would never recommend this place to anyone and have thus far told people of our experience. Very sad indeed.

I LOVE this salon. I don’t get my hair cut often but when I do I always went here. They would do a fantastic job and I always loved my hair. I got my eyebrows done here once(it was my first time getting them done!) and it was $ 9. The salon is very nice inside and has a nice sitting area. I would still go here but I moved :(

Yes, it is obvious the first review is written by the owner. I went there a couple of weeks ago and was not happy. The girl who cut my hair was telling me what she was going to do step by step. It was like she was not listening to a word I said. Frustrating. ITISMYHAIR! No other customers there. I was there twice and not a whole lot of activity. Also, it seems the girls in the shop that day were newbies. I want a senior person to at least be there to assist the newbie if needed. I do not recommend this place.

Europa is a beautiful salon and they have great customer service. I’ve gotten my hair done here 3 times, each time with a different hair stylist. I never make appointments, but my walk in experience is always pleasant with little to no wait time. If you do have to wait they have a nice lounge with a tv, and free beverages(i.e. coffee, hot cocoa, and bottled water). Everyone here seems to be very friendly, and I’ve loved my new hair cut every time. I would recommend this salon to anyone and everyone!

My first visit to Salon Europa was at the urging of my sister who was referred to the salon by a friend, and she has been raving about it ever since. I personally am always wary when I go places to get my haircut as I’ve had many bad haircut experiences in the past. So when I decided to give Salon Europa a try, I have to admit that I was a little nervous. For starters, they are located in a shopping plaza which has been remodeled and is slowly filling up with new businesses. Therefore when you see this location from the street, it’s not that impressive. However don’t let your eyes deceive you! Once you enter Salon Europa, you truly feel as if you’re in a high-end, expensive salon! The inside of the salon is very modern and extremely clean! As a matter of fact, I can’t recall ever being in a salon that is as clean as Salon Europa. The customer waiting area is not your typical chair-lined window seating that you’ll find in other salons. They have an area in the salon that is partitioned off where customers can enjoy a little privacy and relax in comfortable, over-sized leather chairs. There is also a modern fireplace for those cold Michigan winters, a flat screen television with satellite TV, a mini-fridge stocked with complimentary drinks(soda, water, juice, etc…), fresh coffee, and a snack area where various light snacks are served. You will also notice something uniquely different about this salon. The hairstylists stations, which at other salons are typically lined along the wall, are not designed like that here. The hair stations at Salon Europa are designed in such a way that each customer who is having their hair done has a bit of privacy. I find this highly appealing. Salon Europa also seems to employ hairstylists who truly have a passion for hair. I noticed that each stylist seemed to take their time, making sure to listen to the customers’ needs and offer them advice. All of the stylists also seemed very friendly and able to hold a conversation with customers(which I think is important when visiting a salon… no one typically wants to sit there in silence as their stylist works). When I had my hair done, I saw Natalie. She was friendly, professional, styled hair better than anyone I’ve ever seen before, and MOST importantly, she listened to me and what I wanted! Salon Europa’s prices are extremely affordable. While other local salons will charge $ 25+ for a simple wash, cut and style, Salon Europe starts at around $ 15! Salon Europa has the look, feel and service of a high-end salon, without the high-end pricing! I would highly recommend Salon Europa to any woman, man or family who is looking for a unique salon, a great stylist, and outstanding pricing. I live almost 20 miles away from this salon and will definitely drive the distance to get my hair done here!
