Jim Beaver’s School of Music is the LARGEST Music School in the Hendersonville, NC area with hundreds of students enrolled. We offer lessons for ages 4 to adult.

Our students have SO MUCH FUN learning music here! From Guitar and Piano, to Voice or even Group Band Classes, we are Hendersonville NC’s one stop shop for Music Lessons. Enrollment is EASY, and you could start ANY TIME!

We are the only school in Hendersonville, North Carolina that offers all of these popular instruments: Electric & Acoustic Guitar, Voice, Singing, Piano, Bass, Drum set, Dulcimer, Trumpet, Recorder, Flute, Ukulele and year round Rock Band classes in one location.

What is Jim Beaver’s School of Music? We are Hendersonville’s LARGEST music school, proudly serving the WNC area since 2001. Offering private and group instrument and voice lessons, our studio has served hundreds of students in the WNC area over the past decade. Our approach sets us apart.

Students are not one size fits all, so their lessons shouldn’t be either. We offer one on one instruction at affordable rates, but much more, we provide a mentor. A custom curriculum is CREATED for each student to help them accomplish their goals.

Are you a budding guitarist, singer, pianist, vocalist, or drummer? Or do you have some experience, but seem to have hit a plateau? Jim Beaver was seemingly born with a guitar in his hands. Having been raised by C.R. «Dick» Beaver, the heavy-​hitting local studio engineer and guitarist (& former band mate of Unknown Hinson Bassist Roger Khors), Jim found himself going to rehearsals and living rooms-​turned rehearsal space when most of his peers were in diapers.

Beginning his own musical journey at the age of 7, Jim was studying advanced concepts and material on the guitar before hitting his teens. Becoming a protégé of anyone willing, Jim studied under local talents such as Bill Altman (Cry
