Great food, great service. I always get breakfast, either the sunrise sampler or the country fried breakfast. Country fried shrimp is great especially their tartar sauce(!) hash brown casserole here is also exemplary. Pro-tip: don’t go on weekends because they have long waits. I would suggest their servers bring all the accoutrements with their food. for me, with a large party, it usually takes them 3 trips and they never remember everything.

What can be said that hasn’t been said again and again? Always packed, always good, friendly staff. One question I do have. Does anyone actually buy anything from the gift shop? I have never actually seen anyone do it. Its always too busy and too many people standing around in the aisles to look at the merchandise.

One great thing about this Cracker Barrel is it is located right next to a Holiday Inn Express. Get your room. Walk right to dinner. The CB service was decent. Kids loved the pancakes and indeed ALWAYSLOVE Cracker Barrel. I made the mistake of ordering the Meatloaf, which took me back to High School cafeteria meatloaf. Too much liquid, no crust. The waitress asked me how it was, and I told her. To her credit, she did offer to get a manager. I declined and said«it is just this style of big pan meatloaf.» A meatloaf is not a meat casserole. So I’ve adopted a general CB rule: if it is not fried, or not a breakfast food, avoid it. The Cracker Barrel seemed as good as any, if maybe a little smaller. But it was 20 miles south of Asheville. No doubt we will return next time we are driving through.

Love getting a nice frosty mug to pour my old fashion Stewarts root beer into, and of course you can’t beat the chicken n dumplins along with sides of mashed potatoes mac n cheese and those tasty corn muffins. Its a traveling tradition to stop at least coming or going while on vacation. A home cooked meal just hits the spot. Also love looking through the store after eating.

It’s a Cracker Barrel, it has Cracker Barrel food and Cracker Barrel knick knack shopping stuff. Close to the hotel that we are staying at, after dragging my parents around Main St in Hendersonville and a 2 hour drive from Charlotte, we wanted to go easy for dinner. You can almost see the Crack from the hotel, we all know what they have and like it, so it was a pretty easy decision. At 5:00 pm on a Monday night, there was a light crowd. Our server was soft spoken(we all had to say«huh» a few times), but friendly and efficient. The food was hot, the price was as expected and we all had full tummies, elevated blood sugar and an impending carb coma. Good stuff. Clean restaurant, clean restrooms and friendly«general store» staff too. Nice little spot for a big country dinner or breakfast all day.

I want to thank the manager for his help and understanding he gave to our son with his car. The car needed to be left overnight and he allowed the car to remain on property until we could pick it up the next day. Oh, course we had a delicious dinner before heading back to Indiana. Cracker Barrel has a winner at this location. Tanks again.

Found a t-shirt for $ 6…Man I love porch sales and clearance discounts… What can be said about the food? Great portions at decent prices — lots of options — I only wish we had one near us, but we’re not near a freeway, so I won’t hold my breath.
