Specialties

We are a Martial Arts school in Flanders, NJ, established in 1995. We specialize in Okinawan Karate (Goshin Ryu), Kickboxing and boxing. We have a 3100 sq.ft. facility complete with a professional boxing ring, all the latest equipment, and a waiting area that the classes can be observed. We have classes available for children, ages four and up, including adults.

Shihan Jim Peterson is the Chief Instructor. He is an 8^th degree Black Belt with over 30 years experience.

History

Established in 1995.

Established in 1995 the school is one of the areas oldest and most respected karate schools. Shihan Peterson Is a retired law enforcement officer who now teaches full time.

Business Owner

Shihan Peterson began his training in 1980. Since then he has obtained the title of «Shihan» and the rank of 8^th degree Black Belt in Goshin Ryu Karate. He also holds Black Belts in Uechi Ryu Karate, Tae Kwon Do and American style kickboxing. He is also a certified USA Boxing coach.
