Woody Mountain Campground And RV Park

I spent a night here about five years ago and I was totally happy with the place. It’s not really an out door experience (right off the freeway and into the city), but suited my needs. I just spent the night in my car and was able to shower (coin op) the next morning. It was quit during the night and clean, as I would hope for $ 20 a night to just park my car ;)
Well, I just called and the woman was very unpleasant. First, I was put on hold for 5mins. I said good morning and asked if there was a space for tonight. She asked what sort of car I had and how many people. Which is acceptable. Her tone was another thing. Usually park managers are nice and friendly. Then she asked what time I was coming. I said I wasn’t sure since I’m spending some time in Sedona first. Her reply, «Well I don’t accept entry after 6pm.» That was the end.
Rant: What sort of campground closes at 6p when it doesn’t get dark until 8p right now. Its not like its full of families in tents going to bed at 6pm. It is mostly RVs.
Anyway, her rudeness and lack of costumer service tone ruined it.
