Norton Environmental

I live in Kachina Village. The snowfall is very heavy here. Our mailboxes and trash cans are frequent targets of the Snow Plows. During this last storm, my cans were pushed over sometime during the night. By morning they were frozen to the ground. I couldn’t budge them. When the Norton truck came by, the driver got out, lifted my can out of the frozen mess and then proceeded to empty the trash into his truck.
This is not the first act of professional kindness that I have witness from this company’s employees. They deserve a huge «thanks» and the 5 stars I’m giving them.

shockingly rude! terrible customer service

Straightforward enrollment over the phone. Originally tried to set up service with Waste Management, but WM’s convoluted phone system was impenetrable.

Interesting last comment.…I have had nothing but really bad customer service from Angel. Couldn’t even get her to return a call. Jenna was kind enough to give me her e-​mail address but still she never fully answers a question. Have not received documentation I asked for to-​date. I guess it is time to contact Ray

We have used Norton for about 2 years now. We were very unhappy with our previous trash collection company. We were immediately impressed with Angel. She earned our business and has remained friendly, competent and professional in every interaction. I did recently experienced some poor customer service from the receptionist, Jenna, and from one of the drivers. When I expressed my concerns to their supervisor Ray, he promptly resolved these issues. A true test of a company’s integrity is how they resolve problems and listen to their customers. Thanks to Angel and Ray’s professionalism, they have saved me as a customer and I will certainly recommend Norton to others!

These people are extremely rude and unreliable. They often neglect to pick up the trash, but refuse to credit your account for the lack of service. They will accuse you of «forgetting» to put the trash on the curb, or make up some lame excuse that is generally your fault. They will sometimes promise to credit your account, but the credit never appears on the bill. Whatever, people.

I’ve had nothing but problems with this company since I started using them last year. Unfortunately, they seem to be the only option for waste removal in Doney Park. For the first three months, I had to call EVERY WEEK because they didn’t pick up my trash on trash day. Then they didn’t come for a month, even when I called. They managed to get their crap together for a few more months, and now they’re telling me that I have a past due balance of $ 150. I paid part of it and then took a look at my bank statement, and they are indeed full of feces. They say they’re open until 4:30 on weekdays and from 8 – 12 on Saturdays, but when I just called (at 3:30 pm on a Wednesday) they were already closed. I’ve tried calling them on Saturdays and no one has ever been there. They make me want to take all my garbage and dump it in their office, but that would be rude so I’m just going to gripe on the internet. But seriously, get your crap together.

I have been with Norton Environmental going on 10 years. I always received fairly decent service and the customer service gal was great. I am out of town quite a bit and the she had recommended I call in for vacation holds when I am out of town. Why pay for service when I do not have a pick up… makes sense.
She’s gone and another gal Stephanie… does not have a clue as to what great customer service is. When I saw some vacatoin holds were not deducted from my bill, I called. She proceeded to tell me I can only have a couple a year! I ask her why pay for service when I am out of town! She was rude! I asked to speak with her manager. He was worse! Must be the guy the other review speaks of. I cancelled service with last pick up on ⁷⁄₁₄.
They still have not picked up their container. I called on ⁷⁄₂₅ and spoke with Karen. She said Stephanie had never put in the system! Steer clear of this disposal company! Looks like they’re going downhill!
