Collins Irish Pub & Grill

The bouncer at this bar discriminated against my friends and I because of the way we looked. After about 2 or 3 drinks, not heavily intoxicated whatsoever and planning on walking home, we were turned away because the bouncer thought my boyfriends eyes were too glazed over. His light blue eyes and uncontrollable glaziness should not have kept him from entering this bar. It was beyond outrageous, and this scuzzy college bar lost at least $ 70 by denying him access. In all honesty, avoid this place. They are not kind or welcoming, and the bouncer should be terminated immediately. I am writing this now from the bar we’re currently spending money, so I’m telling you… DO NOT GO HERE.

Real bacon, large portions, and fair prices my new favorite place in flag to eat.
No dj but if all your looking for is an Irish bar with good food this is the only place to go!

We came up from Phoenix, on a whim, and a friend of ours told us to check out Collins, for the game. They had lots of comfortable seating, but the booths were pretty packed, since everyone was piling in for football. We were able to find a nice seat by the window, with a great view of all the TVs, thanks to Matt! He was the bartender and was also in charge of a lot of the tables in the bar area. He was so on top of everything. Water was kept filled, beers were brought out right after they were ordered, food came out hot and was really delicious! We had Mac and cheese bites (really cheesy and rich!) and wings («Melt your face off» and BBQ!) Matt didn’t make us feel rushed, or that we were «taking up a table» and we really appreciated that. I hope he knows he did a great job! We look forward to stopping in, next time we take a trip up North.

Good bar. Bartenders always have a positive attitude and drinks are always on point!!! Really enjoy coming here

Drinks poured right and all reasonably priced.
Music playing was a great volume and of my era so equally impressed.
A must when in the area.

I’ve enjoyed going to this bar over the years, seen the eb and flow of owners, beers and menus. My wife enjoyed the great selection of vodka while I enjoyed a great beer while taking in the «sites» in the bar.

Come here all of them time. Drinks are good and so is the food. Wings are my favorite right now, but I do love their flatbread pizza, mac n cheese with lobster, Irish nachos, garlic fries, and Shepard pie. Cheesecake is homemade and amazing! Prices are expected and happy hour is a great time to go. A lot of TVs and good music to listen too. The servers run their asses off trying to please everyone. Everyone I have met there are super friendly and nice.

Good place to come to if you want to have a chill drink with some friends. I always have fun. Bartenders are friendly, sometimes it takes a little bit of warming up to them.
One of the most popular drinks is the Irish trash can, they only have it on Saturdays after 9 pm. But it’s yummy and worth it. I like that on Saturdays they also have the college games going on and they have good prices on some beer, never a bad thing.
Today I tried some of the food, my frst time ever trying something off of the food menu, but it was tasty. My steak was nice and juicy :)
They usually play good music here. They’ll change it up every now and then.
The place smells like most bars but it sinks in after a while and you don’t even notice it. Haha I know they have several events here but not too familiar with that, something to look into.

Great place to eat. Nicole was our server and she was friendly and personable with a great smile! Bottlecap burger was friggin AMAZEBALLS! If you’re in this neck of the woods, stop in!!!

Awesome service!!! Great food! We had a party of 26 and our server Sylvia was friendly and did her job well. Food was hot and came out in a timely manner.

Came in around a early evening Saturday night. Pretty low key night with most of the focus on the games. A nice sports bar feel with plenty of TVs.
Have a pretty nice happy hour with plenty of draft beers on tap. We ordered some wings. Came out decent but nothing to write home about.
Service was OK. Room to be more attentive but still made for a good time experience. Overall a decent sports bar to frequent.

From out of town have visited this Bar on two separate times in the evening and both times have a bad experiences with management. First time we put money in the music tunes and got mouth from the manager about the music I played said they try and cater to the young crowd and told me not to waste my money as the music would be turned off in a bit to attract the different crowd. Second time the bouncer at the door was on a power trip because he said we were disrespectful. Sad part the kid at the door needs to understand to get respect you have to give respect to the customer as with out us the customer that kid does not have a job.

Not a bad spot for couple of cold one’s and sports.
However; if one is hungry. I strongly suggest stay away, stay very far away from the Veggie Flatbread/​pizza.
To say it was lacking in any sorts of flavor would be a severe understatement.

Service: I think that the server didn’t really dig me too much, not sure what I had done to her but apparently I must have done something. The guys I were with well taken care of but I truly felt overlooked.
Food: I ordered the lobster mac and cheese and holy cow it was awesome! There were tons of big prices of yummy lobster in my pool or scrumptious Mac and cheese. The topping was the cherry on the cake for this mini and yet deliciously filling treat, especially when you are not expecting much from a bar!

Every Friday night is ladies night where all drinks are buy one get one free. This can be very dangerous! They start clearing out tables around 9pm and that’s when it gets PACKED. There is a small dance floor area and the DJ spins all night. The bartenders are fairly quick and offer great drink recommendations. I do wish they had a larger smoking area because it got super busy as the night progressed.

The food was awful. Fish and chips were over cooked (burned) the waitress didn’t obviously care about the quality of the food as she served it. Cute pub, great atmosphere, just awful food.

They don’t have a happy hour menu anymore but they will still make the stuff that used to be on it. Garlic cheese fries, cheese pizza, grilled cheese sandwiches, tater tots, fries. Can’t remember what else was on it. I am bummed out about that.

Great shepart pie and best Irish coffee ever.
Good service, excellent selection of beer and nice view out the windows.
We eat here every time we go to flagstaff, and highly recommend it.

Such a fun spot to stop into in Flagstaff. The staff was friendly, service was fast, and the drinks were cheap. We will be back to visit soon to escape the heat in Scottsdale!

Every time I went, great service and the drinks were always well made.
It’s the place where I bought my first drink when I turned 21 and we had a fun time. I recommend it to anyone.
